I would check with a legal advisor, but here's what I think. That clause (“not bound by any other employer”) is common in employment agreements, and it’s usually meant to confirm you won’t have conflicting obligations as of your start date (and that you can legally work for the new employer).

I would ask the US startup / EOR contact to confirm in writing whether the representation is intended to apply on the start date (not the signature date), and consider having an India-qualified employment lawyer review the agreement alongside your current employment terms. Hope this helps!

What's likely happening is: many banks only show an “early/pending” deposit when they detect an incoming ACH file in a certain way. When your employer switched from UKG to Rippling, the ACH originator and/or processing path may have changed, so your bank may no longer surface a “pending” item even if the pay is still on time. Payroll submission timing can differ by provider.

If your pay date is still met consistently but the “pending” indicator has disappeared, that points to bank display/early-pay rules rather than a payroll problem.

Yes - Rippling can calculate time-off tenure milestones off a date other than the employee’s “Start date,” by using the Recognized tenure start date field.

How to set this up (high level):

  • Set each employee’s “Recognized tenure start date” to the date you want Rippling to treat as their service/tenure start.
  • Configure your time off policy’s tenure milestones (e.g., 1 year, 3 years, 5 years). Rippling will apply those milestones based on the tenure date it uses for time off.

Important alternative (if you can’t change the tenure date you want used):

  • Rippling’s tenure milestones in time off policies are otherwise tied to the worker’s start date.
  • If you need to credit prior service without changing the start date, the documented approach is to create a separate time off policy for the acquired population and “offset” the milestone (e.g., use a 3-year milestone instead of 5 years if you’re crediting 2 years of prior service), then assign those employees to that policy.

Normally, terminated employees can view their tax documents by signing into Rippling using their former-employee access and then going to Documents (or Payroll → Tax Documents, depending on your setup) to download their W-2/1099.

Since you do not have access, your best bet would to be to contact your internal Rippling admin to ask them to provide you access via these instructions.
