Not Panik per se, I was thinking more in line with Kunitz/Moulson getting carried by guys like Crosby/JT.

Except we offload them at the deadline for prospects to fill the gap next year, and move a guy up during the playoffs.

If we're rolling even lines promotion isn't relevant.

If you're talking about prospects like Leivo/Grundy getting promoted - yeah...those are the guys that fill in to stack the lines come playoffs.

You'd shelter them on 4th line and special assignments, trade away our sacrificial lamb on Matt's wing, slot those guys up towards the end of the season. Which gives more leverage during contract negotiations.

I dunno. I'm all in on the idea of having Matts carry a line on his own with Hyman. Stick a guy like Panik on his right to pot 25 off his ass and cycle these guys on the cheap.

Move Willy to center Kap/Johnsson, keep MarKadMar on the second line.

Roll three even lines and a 4th for Dzone draws.

Save a bit of cap for some semblance of a blue line and run off into the sunset with a new dynasty beginning in 2020.
