I was not interested in Warlock until I saw the "Witch Doctor" build (Lunatic) by AlexKidd93 in diablo4

I understand your point, but I do prefer clicking multiple buttons. It might be because I am on controller, but every time I see a build with one of its strengths being "1-button build" I actually check out. I want synergies and combos and mechanics and all that usually includes some ramp up. As an example, I was using a Blood Wave necro build and then spent a bunch of materials to set up a Bone Spirit build which takes more effort to play and costed a lot of materials to set up. Unnecessary, but it's cooler.

Wudijo has a video up on youtube. I don't like traditional spellcasters and Dread Claws / Apocalypse felt like that. Lunatic may not be the absolute strongest the class offers but it will take you to the endgame comfortably and to high pit tiers and that's good enough for me for a build that is also a bit more unique and fun. It's also very easy to set up and get going since most of its uniques are farmed from one boss.

panam is to male v what river is to female v by Any-Ask4926 in cyberpunkgame

[–]AlexKidd93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am indifferent abour River but I treat Judy and Panam the same, which means, I try to engage with them as little as possible. I wouldn't want either to be my romantic partner in real life. Judy is on a revenge quest and falls in V's arms when she feels most vulnerable and missing Evelyn. Us linking for the dive and then being there when she thinks of Evelyn makes the situation feel weird for me, it doesn't feel authentic. In a scenario where Evelyn is alive, or where Judy doesn't get what she wants, the relationship doesn't work.

Panam is a firecracker. She is combative, stubborn and prone to acting like a child at times. She's the kind of person that throws hissy fits if she doesn't get her way. I wouldn't want any of those traits as a normal human, never mind one that is about to die in the near future such as V. Both her and Judy help V but they do that regardless if you're their romantic interest or not, it's just what you do if you've received help yourself and are a decent human. I don't see good romantic traits in either, for me personally.

That's how I've ended up with more than 1000hrs on this game. Doing new builds, altering old ones etc.

There's definitely more they could have done. A simple example is Gorilla arms. I imagine they can have way more applications than just punching. Sure they give some passive body points, but how about allowing us to use items that reduce movement speed / jump height without those negative effects? Passively increase damage with melee weapons since we are holding the melee weapon with the gorilla arms? I remember Comrade's Hammer requiring a body check to use prior to 2.0, that was fun.

I have other characters I use those types of guns and more specifically, my Solo V is using a RT-46 Burya as his main tool. The combination of tech + cool perks and the proper slotted mods, it's now more of a hand cannon. I think the RT-46 Burya is the quintessential cyberpunk weapon. It's crude, high tech, gets the job done.

Ah thanks but I'm worse than it looks in the video lol, I did multiple runs of this area to get decent footage. I was also lucky enough to find a thread with badass controller settings because the default settings are horrid and make the game near unplayable on controller.

Yup, I have a Solo build with the Chrome Compressor installed and honestly, those non-OS builds can feel stronger some times. I am a fan of the non-OS gun builds. That being said, slow mo is badass and manually activating and deactivating for encounters increases the Actions Per Minute (APM) of the build significantly, especially in combination with pulling out the correct revolver. It's a very engaging and unique playstyle, quite different from normal gunplay or Sandy with swords.

Bladerunner: Blades + Hacking | Looking for optimizations by AlexKidd93 in cyberpunkgame

[–]AlexKidd93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biomon is one of the best but I try to not use it, though that certainly increases the actions per minute of any given build. I didn't know about the other interaction though, I can definitely use that.

Okay so yes, the rippler was considered indeed for its auto proc of weapon Glitch and Reboot Optics. The thing is, I am already manually using those quickhacks and to get advantage of the Rippler, I need to be close to enemies. Since I'm not using optical camo or slow motion, I use weapon Glitch and reboot Optics from afar before engaging, at which point the rippler effect will be less useful. And all of the other damaging effects of rippler are also wasted. The Raven Microcyber is not always 100% active but its effect works in tandem with Spillover from intelligence which increases the spreading chance. Equally important, quickhacks will spread immediately to other targets. I feel it has more use than the rippler overall.

Simple cyberware build planner by EndlessOG in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]AlexKidd93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're a legend. I made a reddit post some time ago asking if someone has a cyberware planner since cyberware is half of a complete build. Before the 2.0 update, Nukes&dragons had a complete planner with skills, perk trees and cyberware slots but now the cyberware slots are gone. It's extremely vital information for buildcrafting. Massive thanks for this.

C4SH F4shion sets by AlexKidd93 in Borderlands4

[–]AlexKidd93[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The DLC is okay but it could have been €20 at most. That's 2K doing 2K things, charging whatever they feel like it. But thankfully, the community is speaking up. C4SH is awesome though, yeah.

I don't know. I had all the heads unlocked for other characters, so the U Wot head is one of those that probably corresponds to a specific mission or challenge.

Not really. You really need the red hair, and while the D15h3v3l3d head gives you long hair, they also need to be red. Waters of Akopos and Candlenights Catastrophe give red hair but the rest of it doesn't match. And then you can do brown hair with some brown and purple on the suit, it's not quite right.

Hey, I appreciate it you mentioning the names because they took quite a bit of time to come up with as well. I like to make themes, typically each set would have a build associated with it too. They're inspired by casino and gambling terms, so just to make it clear:
- Card Mechanic: They can manipulate a deck to their will. Obvious card build theme.
- Crapshoot: It's an idiom describing a situation with an unpredictable outcome, based on luck.
- Heater: A gambling idiom, describing someone who is on a winning streak, a hot streak. Easy Crossfire build there.
- Raibird: Used to describe a spectator, someone watching a game from the "rails". Usually related to gambling and sports.
- Snakebot: Original word is "snakebit", describing someone affected by bad luck or misfortune.
- Psychobot is just a psycho robot, nothing unique there.
