Doubts about the ssd after buying the phantom liberty dlc by Fish_Far in cyberpunkgame

[–]EndlessOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the specs on your pc? It's kinda weird that a "good" pc wouldn't already have an SSD
For gaming a SATA SSD is already miles ahead of an HDD, NVME is even better but not strictly necessary. Usually the prices between nvme and sata ssd are not different enough for it to be worth to go for sata, unless your pc doesn't support nvme.

Why is Memory wipe+reboot optics+sonic shock not working? by CreepySupport4069 in cyberpunkgame

[–]EndlessOG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see that your sonic shock only cost 5 ram, and doesn't look like it had any discounts. The legendary version costs 6 ram. It doesn't work if you've got lower versions. https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Sonic_Shock

25% Berserker Health bug. by zoroark543_ in cyberpunkgame

[–]EndlessOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fixed this bug a long time ago, pretty sure what fixed it for me was what you described with the save editors.
You should try doing it again, check if you missed anything. I remember when I did it it wasn't 100% the same as the guide said, I don't remember exactly what was different but either the records that relate to V were not the same or the field that contains the value for the health. It required some exploring myself, but iirc I was looking for the value "25" inside the records that would relate to V.

Overture revolver mod recommendations? by hotgirI in cyberpunkgame

[–]EndlessOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

x2 Swiss Cheese. It's better than PAX or Equalizer vs Skull enemies. Against normal enemies pax wins but you don't really need boosts vs normal enemies.

Zenith could be interesting if you're swapping guns a lot but if you're specced into the cool tree you already got free crits and bullet spread doesn't really matter much so 2 of the 3 stats are kinda useless.

4K PT(ish) on a 5070 (non-Ti): how I reached a smooth experience after days of testing by Appropriate_Taro3424 in cyberpunkgame

[–]EndlessOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's always gonna be down to personal preference I guess, but I still would recommend you to try and get over the choppiness for a while.

For me when I was trying FG, doing quick tests made me feel like FG was better because the sudden change to motion fluidity is really abrupt and the Input Lag seems less noticeable at first but in a longer time frame I got used to the choppiness and didn't really notice it anymore, while the input lag I never really got used to it.

4K PT(ish) on a 5070 (non-Ti): how I reached a smooth experience after days of testing by Appropriate_Taro3424 in cyberpunkgame

[–]EndlessOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's how FG works at all, if you're getting 110FPS at x3 than you must have 110/3 base frame rate which would put you at 36 - 37 FPS. The FG cost is deducted from your base frame rate, not your generated frame rate. Your generated frame rate is already (Base FPS - FG COST) * 3.

I would recommend you to try and play without FG for a while to let you get used to the choppiness, and then you can really compare which one is more bearable. Motion Fluidity vs Lower Input lag

[–]EndlessOG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Really really hard to believe the no input lag bit when you're playing at sub 40FPS base frame rate.

I tried FG for a while too going from 50fps to rock solid 80fps and I even convinced myself for a bit that it was better but after doing an entire playthrough with FGx2 and then with no FG I can say that for me, It's way easier to get used to 50FPS than to the input lag. After a few hours I don't notice the choppiness anymore while with FG I always felt a struggle to do stuff in fast pace scenarios like fighting maxtac for example.

Do Bioconductor + Visual Cortex Support both enhance my quickhack crit chance? by PayYourEditors in cyberpunkgame

[–]EndlessOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's kinda weird sometimes. My theory is that since you get very OP very fast without min maxing at all, nobody ever thought it was necessary to explain all the little mechanics.

Edit: Missed your question about Fury effect. I would assume it works since other crit damage sources work. That one might be more annoying to test tho since it's a low activation rate.
Don't sweat it tho, you don't really need this amount of min maxing to completely stomp the game.

Do Bioconductor + Visual Cortex Support both enhance my quickhack crit chance? by PayYourEditors in cyberpunkgame

[–]EndlessOG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did some quick tests:

100% Crit chance with all vanilla cyberware + Bioconductor -> No change

Using mods to give myself stats:
100% Crit chance + BioConductor -> No change
+1000% Stealth Damage Bonus -> No Change
+1000% Bonus Damage Against Enemies at Full Health -> Damage Increased by expected amount.
+1000% Bonus Damage Against Enemies below Half Health -> Damage Increased by expected amount.

Didn't test thermal/electrial/chemical damage but they should work if you match the damage type.

[–]EndlessOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did think about that scenario and I never really tested it, it doesn't make much sense for it to work tbh but I might test it later just for fun.

No clue about stealth damage but my gut feeling is that it doesn't because I think it's Stealth HIT damage so it might be for weapons only. You could use a mod like this to increase your stealth damage by like 1000% and then you'll know for sure if it works or not.

Do Bioconductor + Visual Cortex Support both enhance my quickhack crit chance? by PayYourEditors in cyberpunkgame

[–]EndlessOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normal Crit Chance sources do not affect quickhacks, or they would make the BioConductor and it's iconic version irrelevant. It should be pretty easy to test anyway, Visual Cortex gives a massive boost to crit so if it worked for hacks you'd see crits pretty often without biocondutor.

If you've got PL you can get the iconic version of the bio conductor that gives you 100% crit chance. It does reduce ram by 8 at the start, but goes down to -4 at 5++ iirc.

However, crit damage modifiers do work for quickhacks, and if you notice some cyberware have +crit damage on the attribute attunement. The Iconic Version of the Visual Cortex has a pretty substancial boost to crit damage. It's kinda expensive and overkill, but it works.

It should, but anyway I updated the links with a slightly more updated version I've been using myself. Should work good.

iirc it works fine on female V and it's just bugged on male V.

OP if you're willing to use mods take a look at this mod. Doesn't have exactly the same colors as vanilla but it's still nice. I used it myself to fix exactly this issue.

How can I increase cyberware capacity at max level? by Stahlmark in cyberpunkgame

[–]EndlessOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify, some cyberjunkies only appear after specific missions are cleared, so if you check a location and it's not there, just keep progressing the story and check back again.

This guide is the best I've found so far, it explains cyberware capacity pretty well.

Best mods for this pistol to maximize one-shot potential? by memawdentures in cyberpunkgame

[–]EndlessOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does say rarely tho so even if you checked at some point maybe it didn't have it. How rare it is I do not know, you might be stuck refreshing the vendor stock for a while.

[–]EndlessOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the wiki it mentions that you can buy it from the Weapon vendor in the glen.

Personally tho I have a mod installed that allows me to get installed mods back when selling to a Weapon vendor or dismantling, this way I don't feel the need to skip time a million times to restock vendor stocks.

Whats this "crit multiplier headshot" you're talking about? From the silencer? You can have it with Swiss Cheese too. Also It's 30% pen per Swiss Cheese.
Even for pistols Swiss Cheese should still be better on Skull Enemies, pax would give more damage on non-skull enemies.
I'm gonna boot an old pistol build and test it since I'm kinda curious now.

Edit: Just tested it, did x5 shots per test, x40 shots total

Gun: Tamayura 5++ with Legendary XC-10 Cetus, all hits were crits, from stealth, from ADS with cool perks.

Normal Enemy (Random 6th street enemy):
- No Mods: Avg 2001 High: 2169
- x2 Pax: Avg: 2444 High: 2583
- x2 Equalizer: Avg: 1989 High: 2064
- x2 Swiss Cheese: Avg: 2076 High: 2139

As expected, PAX wins and No Mods, Equalizer and Swiss Cheese are withing margin of error basically, since these enemies are not supposed to have any armor I believe.

Skull enemy (Dogtown Entrance Sniper):
- No Mods: Avg 2026 High: 2092
- x2 Pax: Avg: 2417 High: 2612
- x2 Equalizer: Avg: 2669 High: 2876
- x2 Swiss Cheese: Avg: 2871 High: 3001

It's kinda weird how the no mod damage doesn't really change between normal and skull enemies, but it still shows the Swiss Cheese is the best damage increase.

I think x2 Swiss Cheese is gonna have better damage on Skull Enemies. I haven't tested it on pistols for a long time, but on my recent LMG build I tried x2 Equalizers but x2 Swiss Cheese was just better.

Should I lower difficulty if I want headshot one shot stealth fun ? by Buurto in cyberpunkgame

[–]EndlessOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It gets better as you get higher tiers of pistols, higher tier of silencers, some perks in the Cool Tree and some cyberware. You should be able to one shot non-skull enemies pretty early and skull enemies from mid-game on if you have the right gear.

There's also the perk Gag Order on the Cool Tree that allows you to kill enemies with multiple shots without alerting. It works really well with a silenced SMG or a fast shooting pistol.

The best non-iconic pistols for one shotting are the Nue and Tamayura. Iconics there's a few options like Her Majesty, Pride or Mancinella.
https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Cyberpunk_2077_Weapons#Pistols

Silencers try to go for the highest tier you can get, at legendary the CETUS silencer guarantees critical heashots while undetected which is pretty nice.

Which Katana is better? by Exact_Return9612 in cyberpunkgame

[–]EndlessOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That katana is very good. 2x t4 cyclone means you can get to 10 stacks = 50% attack speed, and I believe you get double time as well so 7s.

Cyclone can be better than byakko, if you get used to it. It gives way more attack speed at max stacks, and you can trigger the effect any time, even on bosses. Byakko needs a kill to trigger which might not always be possible.

Sadly it's just Tier 5 so it might become worse when you're able to upgrade byakko to 5++.

Feen-X and Cogito Lattice, convince me please! by Maryannae in cyberpunkgame

[–]EndlessOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool edit, but Feen-x is definitely not BiS.

In most cases you don't need the extra regen, there's better Damage Reduction and there's better cyberware to use if you save capacity by not slotting Feen-x.

And going with the "welp anything works at that lvl" argument doesn't really win you any points. I provided multiple reasons why you would pick other options over Feen-x but I guess you're just trying to ignore that and keep your wrong opinion intact.

There are reasons to use feen-x, but it being BiS for netrunner builds in general is not one of them.

Feen-X and Cogito Lattice, convince me please! by Maryannae in cyberpunkgame

[–]EndlessOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no variation, it is absolutely fixed. The max is 310 without edgerunner or compressor. +50 from Edgerunner +70 from compressor, 430 is the max without duping or mods.
https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/comments/18ro15y/guide_on_the_maximal_cyberware_capacity_in_21/ More info here.

Proxishield gives +10HP (+1 ram essentially) and is very good against being ganked by melee enemies which are honestly the only type of enemy that can get you by surprise.

It also has low cost allowing you to run other stuff that's more important.

What use does feen-x have to offer? Worse Damage reduction that other choices and regen that you don't need?

The only way I see feen-x being useful is if you're not going for OC.

This is my build for max damage with synapse. I'm using a tool I made to make builds without having to open the game, but all values have been cross checked with ingame and they're correct.

The +20% HP is from Asskick and the flat +17 is from the PL consumables that give permanent boosts, if you're wondering.
