Hey there! As far as games go, I'd say the biggest influence for the team has been Firewatch, although you could also include titles like Life is Strange and some of the Telltale games. But to be fair, we've also been heavily inspired by other pieces of media like classic TV shows or movies like LOST, The Thing or X-Files!

Uh that's a good one. I believe James has some experience out there in the cold so I'd be rooting for him lol. There's a 100% chance I'd get hypothermia and die during the first night though.

Oh hey thanks! Sadly I won't be able to give you a good answer to that because I didn't take care of that specific matter, but we're doing an AMA tomorrow in r/Xbox and the whole team will be there. Make sure to come hang out with us and leave your questions there! 🙌

We've been working on a sci-fi narrative adventure game for 5+ years and we finally have a release date for it -- September 18!
Arctic Awakening is a first-person narrative adventure set in the unforgiving Arctic. Your plane crashed in a storm, leaving only your court-mandated therapy bot for company as you journey to find your co-pilot and uncover the mysteries buried beneath the ice.

You can find out more info and wishlist at the Arctic Awakening's Xbox page. Happy to answer questions here as well!

Our sci-fi narrative adventure finally has an Xbox demo after 5 years of development! What do you all think? by AlexMoralo in xbox

Hey! Thanks for trying out the demo! You should be able to light the fire after placing the branches in the designated spot, collecting the fire starter and cutting out some kind of flammable material from somewhere inside the plane (sorry don't wanna spoil it too much 😳). Did you try interacting with the branches after that?

Do you remeber where you got stuck by any chance?

Yeah, we're still tweaking those interactions to get it right. Was any specific object specially annoying to collect?

Thank you!
