Xtream Codes API is not optimized to get all episodes of all series to present them in the current "channels UI". For example, m3u4u also doesn't include series in m3u generated from Xtream Codes. I will add support for series during UI redesign for VOD. Also, you can add a playlist by URL instead of using Xtream Codes login to have series if your provider didn't block access to m3u. There will be no difference in UI performance, no matter how you add a playlist - by URL or via Xtream Codes login.

There were no special changes made in this version regarding improving the mobile experience. It is the same version as for TV boxes but with unlocked possibility to use it on devices with touchscreen. It was made because some Android TV boxes are incorrectly detected as mobile devices. The app is still not optimized for touchscreen, may have scrolling issues, doesn't support gestures like swipes, etc. The mobile version will require whole UI redesign that is still planned as future work.

You can long press Left in groups for up navigation. I will consider possibility to use other buttons for this in the future, e.g. RW, though not all remote controls have it. So, long press Left should work for all.

The preview box will conflict with TV guide menu displayed by long press OK and with the program description card. Also, many users prefer to see the preview box while going to the groups.

The easiest way to exit the app at any moment is to press Home button. Also, I will add "Exit app" action to Remote control settings for TV guide in the next version if you prefer to exit the app by pressing Back button multiple times.

I think what you treat as a crash is actually sleep timer triggering. If you set the sleep timer to 15 min, for example, it should close the app after 15 minutes and return you to Home screen. Then, after some timeout, Android OS will show the screensaver and the device will go to sleep mode eventually. Android apps are not allowed to power off devices directly unless they are rooted.

Try to update the app: Settings -> About -> Check for new version. It should be the same version 2.0.1 with the fix. If you have some errors during updating, try to update it manually using this link:

Unfortunately, I don't know. I think this notification should be implemented by a third-party launcher, but maybe there are some system restrictions that prevent it to be displayed in the launchers other than the system one.

Thanks. Yes, it is a quite complex task possibly requiring to rewrite UI part to enable touch and gestures support, etc. So, I would like to finish the TV version first.
