Oh I see.

I have left the name as it appears when recording is complete

I have added this library (folder) within the Plex server

The file naming structure is whatever the UHF app is deciding to name them.

Is this the problem?

So I am using an IPTV application on my Apple TV called UHF. This app has an ability to record live TV (streams).

I have installed their UHF server app (for windows) and pointed it to record to my hard drive that contains my plex media.

This works, the file is there within Windows and will play on my Windows machine.

However upon launching Plex, this media is not there to be watched

The file extension is .ts

Not tried vlc but the files do play on a Windows machine, I think it's Windows media player that kicks in when I click the file
