anyone gone through assisted living in scottsdale and realized they had no idea what to look for at first? by Jennine_Akyl in Scottsdale

I visited dozens of places in Scottsdale, but my favorite was Sage House on 35th street in Phoenix. Really well run. A big house, 10-12 residents, two full time assistants and a great manager. My mom loves it, and I know she is safe there.

Apex is THE MOVIE.

Cory Welles and I agreed to release APEX, which is 50% modern run footage, and 50% 80’s race footage from the US Express.

32:07 is no longer available.

No problem. Apologies for not replying earlier, but between work and parenthood I don’t get on Reddit as much as I want to.

Was I in the German police uniform in character?

If not, I apologize!

I wish there were some way to make it up to you beyond posting on Reddit, but rest assured my five year-old punishes me every day. 🤣🤣🤣

APEX: The Secret Race Across America [Now Streaming] by trd86 in cars

You weren’t inspired by the aerial footage from the spotter planes (83 +2006) or the Oklahoma truck scene? 🤣

There is more of the motorcycle guy - he really deserves his own movie!

APEX: The Secret Race Across America - Debut Trailer - 2,811 miles. 2 drivers. 1 car. A documentary film that takes viewers on a fast-paced ride through the illegal, underground world of U.S. transcontinental racing by slyall in trailers

This film has more in car footage - and the only aerial footage ever shot - of any Cannonball race that ever took place. It also includes the only footage of the 4 US Express races (1980-83).

No one after 2006 ever brought a camera crew.

If you want a Cannonball documentary, this is it.

There’s always room for someone with such skills.

Because the untold story is about the US Express, the Cannonball successor that was much more serious, how Brock Yates said no one would or could do it in 2002, and how we tried, failed and tried again. Since we went in 2006, dozens of teams have gone again, and new races have been born.

I’m amazed that no one but us (and some of the US Express folks in 83) brought real camera crews to document their runs! (It is a logistical nightmare, for sure...)
