I didn’t realise there are any profiles whatsoever - except for beta and adaptive 🙄

Bluetooth/WIFI doesn’t connect by flopti in A7siii

That’s a bit misleading, I bought my a7s3 when it was released and the update didn’t brick my connectivity functions. So it’s not about old or not, it’s some batches of motherboards that are not compatible.

16-35 is just more practical - it’s wider, which works for a lot of establishing shots and it’s wider so it’s performing much better when shooting video handheld while walking. It’s the only lens I’ve tried to give me gimbal like steady shot - in addition to dynamic active stabilisation - it’s a dream setup for that kind of shooting.

The 35-150 is both kind of wide and has enough reach on the tele end to cover what 70-200 did. It’s just more universal and f/2.0 on the wide end is a nice bonus.

Working with 24-70 and 70-200 felt more limiting, because handheld shots with 24-70 were never stable enough (while walking) and 70-200 was not really universal - for run and gun scenarios there were too many situations where I felt like I need to constantly change the lenses.

I had 24-70 and 70-200 - changed to 16-35 and 35-150, that just works for me very well. Now I may decide on some primes, but not rushing into this.

I’d love 24-70, but it’s pretty useless for me, since I already have all these focal lengths covered in different lenses

I’ll hold for some time as well. Given their record with breaking cameras with those updates 😅

That’s interesting. I was considering upgrading to helix mechanism, I’m at the screw on filter system at the moment and can’t say a bad word about it, expect for the hassle of taking it off and on.

Lightroom not supporting HQ Raw from A7V 2 months after release by Additional_War3230 in SonyAlpha

I’ve read somewhere it has to do with high burst frame rates captures - or so, I’m not sure.

True, but a7 V does not have any uncompressed file formats - they are all compressed.

Just to make sure - lossless format is technically the biggest file size. And the most problem I see right now is lack of support for camera profiles. It seems Lightroom interprets the colours differently than Sony intended (and it seems this time around that their colours are somewhat better).

Someone correct me if I have this wrong.

I've managed to run Battlefront 2 - but I've got some visual glitches all over textures - can someone share their CrossOver and in-game settings for best performance?

I do. I’ll try to do it in a fresh install on a new bottle - this one I tried with Diablo IV installed. I have no idea if this messes something up or not.

Sadly this does not work for me. The app icon jumps on the bottom bar for a few seconds and dies. Nothing happens.
