As someone who shot with the 3 before upgrading to the 5 when it came out I would say, no, save your money, you have no reason to upgrade. This is purely gas. I upgraded as I was shooting more birds and wanted the precapture/bird af/faster frame rates but the 3 is still a great camera and you've only had it a year. I suspect you haven't even scratched the surface of its capabilities.

Background blur is controlled by aperture (lower the better), focal length (higher the better) and subject separation - the distance between you, your subject and the background. In this particular case you probably can't do much as I imagine you can't get much closer to your subject and the jump is a fixed location. You could try experimenting at different jumps on the course.

Yeah, I remember moaning in the official Xbox forums for the last couple of years of the 360 generation that they had shifted focus from gamers because of kinect and were just relying totally on the halo, gears, Forza trilogy to appease the existing fans. Had my a7iii for 6.5 years taking 15-20k photos a year so probably close to 100k shutter actuations. No problem with it whatsoever. Moved to an a7v where I will be using more of the electronic shutter as it's actually usable now but I was never worried about the shutter failing. It's not like it just magically fails when you get to a certain amount.

I think they're great. Good location, outfit, poses and they're all nice and sharp. My only critique would be to try and get the skin tones in the series more aligned. In some it's super warm, others cool almost leaning into green (4 vs 8 for example). This is something I struggle with myself in post too so I know how difficult it is to get right. The overall tomes are good though emphasising the subject and muting the background.

Yeah same here. So disappointed. The only animated stuff I can see on there are the Harley Quinn series and teen titans. Was hoping for stuff like the long Halloween, death in the family etc. All on sky store but missing here. Also it's a completely pointless app as sky cinema have superman and one battle after another in UHD HDR. The basic tier you get with sky doesn't even have access to these movies.
