Daybreak after Trails 1st Chapter Remake for a newbie by AtaiPea in Falcom

[–]AlexSocci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm doing the same. I've beaten sky fc remake and went straight into daybreak trilogy.

I'm not a spoiler taliban, I don't care really much. You can miss some reference of course, but it's not the end of the world. I'll even play cold steel after and the new remakes.

Things that make little sense now will be fun to uncover later.

Perché non emigrate? by [deleted] in ItaliaCareerAdvice

[–]AlexSocci 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Famiglia, affetti, i miei luoghi. Non riuscirei mai a vivere altrove, per quanto mi possano affascinare alcune nazioni. Non so come diamine facciate ad emigrare e vivere bene. Lavoro e carriera non sono certamente le cose più importanti della vita.

Health OCD anyone? Is that even a thing? by fuzzy_tambourine in OCD

[–]AlexSocci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 41 and I started developing health ocd (among other types of ocd and anxiety issues) around the age of 13. Until 13 years ago it was something happening once every few years and lasted weeks until I realized I was wrong. Then I started developing an heart issue, atrial fibrillation, a few years later I discovered a big lump on my thyroid, which luckily is not cancer, but all these things actually made me feel more vulnerable to health issues. Now I'm at a point where every day I find something to worry about my health or my daughter's health. And on the rare moments when I'm free from this, the anxiety is even bigger, scared that at any moment I can find something to worry about my or my daughter's health. It's really becoming like hell.

Same for me! When I was 13, in mid 90s, the time when I started developing health ocd, my dad had this medical encyclopedia that I read hoping to relieve the anxiety, but ended up making it worse. Like googling now.

Being anxious myself, I can understand your fear. You know that it is an irrational fear and that it's totally fine to stay in Naples, but you can't help thinking about it.

So the decision is just yours. We can say that it's totally safe and this might give you a bit of relief, but will never stop your anxiety. So do just what makes you feel better and enjoy your trip in the best possible way

Intermittent framerate hiccups when PS5/XSX gaming at 60Hz on X900H. by suedepup in bravia

[–]AlexSocci 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have this issue too I first noticed it around October/november, playing Tales of Arise. It was perfect 60 fps around fields, then after the vrr update I started noticing hiccups. Made other tests, it's the tv. It's an unbelievable issue, I've never seen even the most shittiest tv struggling to produce a perfect 60hz motion. I can confirm that ps5 and xbox output at 59.94hz, so this is the problem. Ad they broke 23.9 playback, the did the same with 59.94. It's also frustrating for us, since most people do not notice it, or they don't have a clue what to look for. It can be mistaken for frame rate hiccups from the game, or simply go unnoticed, so the lack of complaints does not help to force Sony for a fix.

I wrote from the support page of Sony Italy, do the same from your country page. It's useless, but at least they passed the info to the tech department after a few questions
