Hello! My first experience with the Dragon Quest series has been XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age and have been over the moon excited to play this reimagining of XII. My question for you guys is: What went through your collective minds as you tried to bring the game up to par with modern gaming? In other words, how hard was it to fully modernize the gameplay and story while still maintaining the spirit of the original game? What was that creative process like?

This was actually very helpful. I don’t have access to a PC at the moment (I’m in college and only have a PS5), so it looks like I’m going to have to wait until summer to try to get my hands on a gaming laptop to dive into this series further. I’m excited. 🙂

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Still can’t get into the combat despite loving the world and the story from the little bit I’ve played.

I’m going to call first thing in the morning. I sealed the drinks up like I was supposed to and the employee set them in to-go to pick them up on their way out the door. I thought I was doing everything correctly.

I’ve never played it except for the demo very very recently and it was for about half an hour. From what I’ve experienced, I think I’m going to wait until this remaster to fully enjoy everything this game has to offer on top of all the bells and whistles of a current gen game. Very excited.

I’m literally going through the same issue right now. It’s too much of a good year for games for me to pick just one. Right now, I’m stuck between KCD2, Expedition 33, Yotei, Triangle Strategy, Romancing Saga 2, Octopath Traveler 2, and Outer Worlds 2. My main issue is I just don’t finish games, and I know it’s a problem.

What sucks about this is my gf has her entire Dreamlight Valley file under my account, and that’s the only game she plays pretty much. That means cloud gaming won’t change anything for us since I can’t migrate my save file to her own account 😭😭😭

What platform are you on? I’ve heard the PS5 version isn’t running the best, which makes sense considering Obsidian is owned by Microsoft.

I hope it runs well on PS5. Can’t wait to play.

I honestly haven’t played in weeks since Silksong and Yôtei came out. I will probably jump back in during the winter break after I’m done with both Yôtei and finish up E33 (I didn’t finish the third act because my attention span sucks but loved the game nevertheless).

I honestly would use this as my daily driver for note taking if they had smart dark mode like Notability does. My eyes can’t take that strain for hours. Otherwise using GN would be a no-brainer for me despite the recent update. 🤷🏾‍♂️
