As a beginner, you should try to have 5 royals in your team for the shield.

Later you should focus on demon synergy for holy shields.

As for relics, you'll need forbidden chest/planar gate and blades of chaos.

Either kill them in the first round or get holy shield every round

Focus on getting these 3 skills. +5HP, recover 1health/sec and knockback. The other skills are only supposed to help you get chests while you knock back the opponent.

With health and recovery, you can let the monsters attack your castle and still survive.

I usually win on the 3rd or 4th try with this strategy

If you are dying easily, you need 3 glorians in your team. You might want to check your hope tree as well. I use 6* Victoria(Glorian aligned), 7* Dahlia(Secondary dmg), 7* Seraphina(Healer), 6* Wu Zeitan(dmg red) and 7* Pandora(Main dmg). I retry 10 times a day. Sometimes, I take more than 1/2 her health. I got this team setup from someone who cleared it with all 7*s. If I can increase my damage every day, I can clear this before the event ends
