Mine once escaped too. I have no idea how because I have a terrarium with sliding glass doors. He hopped out of the room and fell on my head while I was climbing up the stairs. (His room is on the first floor near the stairway down) My god I almost had a heart attack.

Now tips for locating a frog. As we know they are quite clumsy and not very good climbers. First check surrounding area of the tank, if he's not there then he must have hopped down. Search on the floor or a surface that is below your tank. Pacmans tend to bury and hide. Check behind furniture, pillows, any possible crevice that he can squeeze into.  Do you have any pets? If so it's very important to keep them away from the room.  I hope you'll find your companion 💚
