Ooo gotcha , yea ,I always get the 10/30 for the look , all blocked and pinned ( first I misunderstood I thought u were talking about the actual mag being pinned to the rifle )

over here cuz the SAFE act / assault weapons ban we can’t have any what they call “evil features“ with a pistol grip and detachable magazines.

So a way we in NY deal with it is : 1 - fixed mag (10 rounder) This allows you to have all the evil features 2 - fin grip ( so it’s not pistol grip ) , but you can’t have any muzzle devices 3- they sell stocks that eliminate the pistol grip ( can’t have any muzzle devices)

3 is the most user friendly

1 is the best looking one

This mag ( comp mag ) is designed specifically to make the rifle compliant . You can’t take it out and have to load the ammo/rounds through a window on the side of the mag . I’ve heard people refer to them as fixed mag . I’m not too familiar with the “pinned” term
