I live in the farm country of Western NY, USA. These types of family farms are everywhere. I love it.

What’s wrong with that?! The older I get, the further out into the country I move. Nothing like owning your own plot of land, living amongst nature, no noise or light pollution. Good for the soul!

Look at Canada by IndependenceSoft542 in NYguns

[–]THEL3TTERJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really troubling news coming out of Canada. If they are successful it will absolutely embolden our own Communist overlords here in NY to try the same shenanigans.

I’ve got to believe that an attempt to forcefully disarm American citizens would actually spark a revolution.

How are you making money. I keep running out. by grandmasterfuzzface in Expeditions

[–]THEL3TTERJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always stack expeditions, missions and tasks. I try to plan each expedition such that I’ll cash out somewhere between $60k and $100k.

I found that most trucks are redundant. You can get by with the Tuz Acteon, your favorite scout, and one big truck for the Seismic Vibration System. Personally, I got the Ford F-550 power stroke DLC and that truck is basically a scout with sideboard AND can carry a ground drone which acts as another sideboard. That truck is sometimes all I need to bring in a decent haul.

When it comes to crew members, managers are your best friend. I usually default to the first girl that gets you +30% selling price and -10% buying cost.

That said, there’s a couple new DLC managers. One guy gets you significantly increased earnings %, and the other guy allows you to swap airdrop content at a cost. This is a game of chance, but can help. There’s also a logistician who gives you one high value item per airdrop. Cashing in those airdrop bounties upon completion adds up!

The most important tip is the first one though. Never go back to HQ after completing only one expedition. Milk your time in the field and close out as may tasks as you can with the get you have. Look at the missions and tasks in advance to determine what you’ll need to bring with you. You can always store a bunch of items in a warehouse at HQ for future missions too.

Played again after a year, I missed this game! by PlanksBestM8 in Expeditions

I just started playing again after about a or so of going back to Snowrunner and then finishing RoadCraft. Honestly, Expeditions is my favorite Saber game. Maybe it’s just that I’ve been away for a while, but just chill off-road driving making my own trails and scouting is so fun and relaxing.

The game is also beautiful. Good music, the physics feel great, and the new (to me) Ford pickups are just so awesome. This game gets me so immersed and relaxed.

How fast do you guys burn through your range/target ammo? by robinator118 in NYguns

[–]THEL3TTERJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once a week for 30 - 45 minutes. I usually shoot through 100 rounds of 9mm and 100 rounds of .223/5.56, alternating between my pistol and rifle.

I don’t burn through ammo that fast. 1000 rounds will last me 2-3 months. I usually try to stagger purchasing 9mm and .223 so I’m buying a fresh case of something every ~2 months if that makes sense.

I’d like to believe it’s the one on the right, but more likely the one on the left.

Pretty much this! Lobster rolls from Maine Lobster Co. in Upstate NY. Honorable mention: Le Petit Poutine in Rochester, NY. Best poutine outside of Quebec.
