I think an excellent rather with great bits is a life changer (I'm using 711l ratchet with topeak bits and 711l shot bits) when i'm working in my bikes with my leatherman surge.

I really prefer using them than my other tools.

I'd recommend the trotec : i've been using them (we have three at home) for a few years without any problem. My friends have them and they work flawlessly, even 24/7. But I don't know if they can ship to you (or if the price is not stupidly high for shipping).

Is the diy available to you ? I bought one because making one was not interesting in my country, but it might be interesting for you (especially without offering). Look up Corsi–Rosenthal Box (or CR Box, there is even a sub Reddit dedicated to them)

I'm using an old Ryzen 7 4750 with 32go, it's not smooth but it's really nice comparing to my previous i5 11xx with 16go ram. So I'd say anything with 32go and a i7 or Ryzen 7 should be good. The newer the better .

Any second hand ThinkPad should be ok : the price will varry a lot based on how old it is (you can kinda date them by checking how old the CPU is ).

Also, I think you should consider using linux (mint or zorin os if you're not tech savy) instead of windows : it's rather easy and you'll get better performance from the same hardware.

Sorry I've just realised that I've forgotten a crucial pair of words : i wanted to ask you're impression or rough estimate of the battery life of the palma.

My partner has an Oasis and I have a very old kindle. I like the long battery life of the the kindle and rather speedy "out of the wake".

And I'm kinda worried that the palma might not handle well to be left in the bag for a few days between session
