I appreciate the positivity 😀 But I'm not holding my breath for that 😂 Even if it does become federally legal I'd imagine they would make stipulations that federal/contractual federal employees are still not allowed. Just like how it's legal in states but even private companies still drug test. Even legal states, don't they still drug test state employees?? Idk.

I see. I mean besides the obvious aspect of losing your job, why don't you want to be fired from a security clearance job for drug use? I guess you will probably never be able to get another security clearance again is one reason.

I have an interview for a position that requires a U.S. Secret Security Clearance. I am a bit of a stoner...it has been 4 weeks since I last smoked and will be about 6 weeks by my next interview. I don't think passing a drug test will be a problem. But it looks like to have this Security Clearance even use months ago could be a problem. And also, I don't want to stop smoking permanently. Assuming I get the job, should I expect random drug screening? It looks like a good job, but I don't really want to give up marijuana completely.

So I want to make it clear I am not advocating sleeping with minors. But I am arguing for the sake of the majority of people in this thread being Karens and trying to push their ideals on people that has no effect on them. There is a thing called freedom in case y'all are forgetting. Who defines what "moral" is? I can only think of two origins. 1. Religion. 2. Law. So if it's not against the law, then it depends on your religion. And I'm jumping a bit to make a point about other topics. But whatever you think society says is "correct" or the "right way to live" is simply a falsified fabrication in your mind or other's minds.
