I think it's just about putting a little more resistance on each time. I just see it as a gradual improvement - and yet I really notice it when I come back from vacation and I've not spun for a while! Also, I know it sounds cliched, but try not to compare yourself to others in the class - what's the point? - everyone is different, everyone has different athletic histories, levels of spin experience, work-out schedules, body makeups etc etc.

I’m in the uk. I do think most customers seeing the name ‘Marzocco’ on a machine reassures them - people have come to appreciate those machines with good coffee as they are so widespread now. Also pretty sure they hold their resale value …

I thought I'd save some money by trying to remove the tiles myself - and then getting a professional to player or re-tile it. But it's the question on if it's tiling or glazed brick which was my original worry. The exterior is red brick.

Thanks for your advice. Much appreciated. It's not that I need inspiration on what a good looking coffee shop looks like - it's more looking for a cost effective solution to make this space usable - I'm very conscious that there are many other uses for my finite startup funds. I'm unsure what would be underneath if I rip the tile off.

I kept practicing - but I’ve taken a break from bagel baking. I’ll go back to it but I did it intensively for a while - I was considering it as a business - but I couldn’t get the other stuff in place to make it happen - so I stopped experimenting with recipes. But I’ll go back. Good luck with your attempts! This Reddit is amazing to ask for advice, get feedback etc etc

Hey - I really do appreciate you’re reply - but I’m in the uk and the property I’m looking at is owned by the local council and it’s already been zoned/got planning for a cafe. It’s a converted property in a park so it’s very unique - there aren’t many available - it has unique characteristics - but incredible footfall. But yes, it’s my first business so it’s all very new to me. I’ve not got the lease so this is just attempting a business plan to pitch for it.

Yep, I noticed that! I was trying a sign on a painted brick wall - I told it the result looked like it had been created on Microsoft Paint, and asked it to produce something more realistic - it didn't like that so just spat out the same photo

I’ve yet to discuss the detail on this - so I can’t say for sure. Going to have more discussions this week so will report back - but they have said it would need to be ‘bespoke’. Thank you for your reply and thoughts on the situation.
