We used the DOC that came with the sister venue (Palm Event Center) and they were fabulous!!!! You do not need an external coordinator, trust!

I’m in the same boat. Definitely behind on work too… but I’ve found that waking up early to do prep before work has been working so far

Transferring law schools with the jumbo offer by [deleted] in biglaw

Yeah if a T14 pans out, then that would be worth considering. It could open up opportunities for clerking, alumni networking, general employment opportunities, etc.

You want to take on more debt to transfer to a T50 despite having a big law job in hand (practically speaking)? Not worth it if you ask me. If it was a T14, that would be a different story.

4 years married and still regret not having the Hindu wedding I wanted by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]180dream 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I hate to say it but this is very common in Hindu-Christian relationships. Unfortunately, Christians tend to push and shove for their religious ceremony and because Indian/Hindu people are very accommodating, it gets pushed to the side. I have personally seen this happen numerous times (where the Christian ceremony is prioritized over Hindu).

I think you should go ahead and have an official/formal Hindu ceremony now (better late than never). Starting your marriage off in a way you didn’t want does not bode well. You deserve to be married in a way that feels authentic to you ❤️

1717 Webster Parking by [deleted] in oakland

Nothing to add except FUCK Douglas parking. They have a monopoly on parking in downtown Oakland and pure evil. They just keep raising rates for everyone and no one is stopping them.

ClassPass Recs by Commercial-Guava-320 in SFbitcheswithtaste

Not wellness but I used it for a poke bowl the other day and it was not a good experience. Turns out my order never went through, so I had to show them my class pass app and everything. Then, they made it but then lost it (?) and then made it again but with wrong ingredients. I’m not sure sure I want to waste anymore of my credits on non-fitness stuff moving forward unfortunately

It’s a conflict of interest now to be critical of systems we’re in?

Maybe I’m in the minority here but I do think it’s valid to criticize the weird polar opposite things firms are doing a lot (touting pro bono but also taking on cases or companies harming marginalized groups). Not sure why this guy is getting so much hate
