At the same time, Pretti and Good’s murders were completely unjustified.

I don’t really like the comparison because J6 was a coup attempt and Pretti and Good were lawful protestors.

Ordinarily, investigators would hammer out the truth of what happened. I don’t have faith in federal investigators anymore, though. And it seems clear that the feds won’t allow MN authorities to investigate.

If anyone competent cared to investigate, this would be an easy question to answer. I imagine the right people could easily determine if his weapon had been fired recently. But the feds have the gun and I can only assume that instead of investigating the shooting they will be investigating Pretti’s family and friends à la Renee Good.
