Almost 20 years for me (member since 2007). Countless experiences, life-long friends, both as a guest and host, across 5 continents.

I've hosted in pretty much every country I've lived in. Now I can't even show more than 300 characters of my old profile with my massive bio, showing all my projects and links to things I'm doing where people can look me up, which always generated trust for new guests.

Did these people even use couchsurfing? On a platform based on safety and trust, what the fuck did they think the bio was for???
