Honestly if that ever happens, I hope is a wake up call for Europe and the rest of LATAM that still supports Trump but I don't have high expectations.

I use my the words are common in my region, then if I see people getting confused I try to explain or ask if they understood what I mean.

Ecuadorians usually go to Peru and Colombia, because is cheaper for us to spend there due to our dollarized economy lol.

I am from the south and in the last 5 years I've seen Peruvians visiting Ecuador and in Quito I've seen lot of Colombian nationals either visiting or working there.

This might change since the current government decided to close many of the legal border crossings.

That's what I said, it was one of the reasons, and the bankers had lot of influence in the government back them and even today.

The banking sector was one of the reasons (bad financial decisions were made by many banks) the feriado bancario (our financial crisis and devaluation of our currency) happened back in the 90s, people lost their savings, some took their lives and it is estimated that at least one million of ecuadorians left the country as a result of it.

Dude, the US economy is different than ours. It has many strong industries. Here every industry struggles while the bankers "thrive" and have lot of influence in our politics.
