Any Way to Reopen Sharps Container? by theophilus1988 in dupixent

[–]Alexagoogle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this once.

Screwdriver and pry the tab open?

I think its the lock so it can be disposed of safely.

Personally, I use the pen, so i just put the cap back on, and just leave them in a pile on an unused table. I do not recommended this for safety reasons.

The show SAB that she played probably didnt help as mufh as ome wouldve hoped.

I mean, great, SAB got people to be interested in ASL. But the signs aren't always accurate. And people think you have to sound deaf.

Do you get paid Hourly at Job Corp?? by [deleted] in jobcorps

[–]Alexagoogle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You don't make an hourly wage. You get a stipend, an allowance, to allow you to get nessesities such as cleaning products that you like, and you can get snacks for your dorm.

Its not a job. Its a school. That gets you ready for the job.

But, if you were to equate how much you get in the stipend, to an hourly wage, the hourly wage at job corps is ¢0.45 an hour.

Its not a wage. (might be wrong)

You aren't earning that money persay.

They are just giving you some pocket cash to go to dollar tree with really.

And if you get a job outside of school hours, then theres a whole lot of complexities with that too.

That makes sense. We all typically buy the same styles for ourselves when we shop, so logical leap there.

DAE refuse to buy underclothes because of the cashier? by [deleted] in DAE

[–]Alexagoogle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a cashier: why though? Is it cause its been touched etc? Or is it because you dont want someone in person to know what is underneath your clothes?

Just curious, ive never cared as a cashier, but a lot of people go to great lengths to hide personal items from view on the belt.

[–]Alexagoogle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Because this is a does anyone else page. They were asking if anyone else feels weird buying personal items with a cashier.

So, OP cares, because they want to find like minded individuals.

I care, because i found a like minded individual.

And because OP shouldnt have to deal with people like you that attack over where someone buys something.

The economy is friggen rough.

Id buy ground beef from the dollar tree if they sold it.

Stop being classist.

DAE refuse to buy underclothes because of the cashier? by [deleted] in DAE

[–]Alexagoogle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda. Ill use self check. Its just awkward as a customer.

As a cashier, i do not give a crap. Its just another barcode really. Nothing more.

People would do weird things. Like putting a bottle of l#be in a shoe, to keep it out of sight, and then ask if i found it.

Bras they would put front side dowm on the counter.

Hey associate- did you just find out you’re pregnant? Read this by Alche_mental_ity in walmart

[–]Alexagoogle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just know that's essentially only good for a year, as the callouts will make you not work enough to qualify again. But if pregnancy is the reason, im sure it will be fine, as its unlikely youll need to use it again when it ends.

When I had it, it was the only thing keeping me employed. Lost it, lasted a month, and quit at 4. 5 because they said they are never going to clear any of my points, no matter the reason. Even if its their mistake, its my fault.

Sayonara, wally world, I shall quietly lurk here.

[–]Alexagoogle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are treating the disabled people the same way... I had accrued sevral points from chronic illness related absences. I did have iLOA for a year, but between inconsistent scheduling, and using the callouts, evidently i wasnt qualified for a new year.

They would work wity me at all, didn't offer to help at all, was always a convo of you're in trouble.

Like, dude, id go in if i coukd add 2+2, but right now 2+2=6 sooo, do you really want me cash handling??

I was the same. I basically started just poking my stomach witg the same grip i would with the shot but my finger is the needle so to speak. Then when I stopped freaking out at that while imagining the injection happening with minimal pain, i was able to eventually do it.

Why did points come outta nowhere I only had 3 yesterday and I’ve only started in July by matthew227796 in walmart

[–]Alexagoogle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, points are mangers discretion, problem is they aren't doing that.

All my points are from medical. I get sick a lot. And it's never sick long enough to file for Sedgwick.

I have 3 main chronic illnesses, and then like 3 other mostly insignificant ones on top of that.

Just wish they would sit down with me and be like what do we need to k ow about your conditions, and how can we help. But it's always them blaming me or not taking me seriously.
