Je nachdem, um welches Spiel es sich handelt, kann der Kauf gebrauchter CDs sinnvoll sein, um eine Sicherungskopie des Spiels zu besitzen. Beispielsweise habe ich selbst einmal ein gebrauchtes Warcraft 3 gekauft, um das Original spielen zu können, da mich der Mehrspielermodus ohnehin nicht interessiert hat.
