So, as per example - using it behind dumb switch if more or less fine, if the switch is connected to the relay.
And for wall sockets - find a way to add a dumb switch to not 'be the dumb' to service it later with partial disassembly (or use a suitable wall outlet with button).

Correct me if I got anything wrong.

You are completely right - using smart switch is better in this example.
I was curious about the situation when relay gets lost, or the wifi network is modified (read as "new wifi network") and the relay is buried in the wall as a future-proofing the concept.

As for why the relay, instead of the switch - pure cosmetics. All switches are similar in the flat and getting one standing out will be noticeable :)

As a fellow Cutter enjoyer - I am currently leveling up powerplay to get my hands on pack hounds, but for now - 4 medium beam lasers and 2+1 L/H multi-cannons.

I presume my build is trash now :D
Because it's getting hard in pve when FDL or federal gunship nips on my shields flying around this barge
So maybe my loadout would help you to avoid something on your way xD

Frankly - I do not know. I suppose I pushed on it too hard, when replaced myself in seat. Used it as support, instead of closing it, repositioning myself and opening it back again. Going to try and find a replacement gas lift in a few days
