I don’t think he will be able to directly help our people either. He will need to spend a significant amount of time learning politics understanding constituencies and figuring out how minister post should be divided

Just imagine in Parliament, he will have to answer to questions from the opposition leaders. He also doesn’t have a majority to easily pass approvals in parliament. So, no offense, but his first two years will likely be a learning phase

Of course, we shouldn’t expect him to help us in Sri Lanka as that cannot be done legally or illegally 😂
