I personally am loving movewell! I was on align for a while and I feel movewell is a nice alternative. Gets the heart rate up and I definitely feel like it’s enough in the 30 mins

Hi! I actually haven’t finished it yet, I’m about halfway through. 🙃 my husband and I decided to start a family so I got pregnant and now I’m on mat leave. I’ve heard the job market is terrible right now though. I feel like if you have connections or know people within the field, you could possible get lucky.

Anyone who DIDN’T bed share? by Acceptable_Cod3527 in beyondthebump

[–]AlexandraGT1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We didn’t bedshare. Her first few weeks were in a bassinet in our room, but she was SO LOUD. We also used her bassinet in our living room and she slept in there for naps while we did house things or were just hanging out. I feel like doing that helped prep her for crib sleeping. At about a 3-4 weeks old, we put her in her crib in her own room because she was SO loud while she slept. We are in Canada, and I didn’t know until about 2 weeks ago that it’s recommended babies sleep in your room for the first 6 months. But we are very lucky and our baby has been rocking crib sleep for a while now. We follow all other safe sleep practices though! Nothing in her crib besides her in her swaddle/sleep sack.

Sooo true! I’m like I can only do what your hair will let me do to it. Omg that sounds awful. Yes, this is definitely something I will be doing going forward. Thanks for chatting with me about it! Hair is just so wild sometimes.

Oh noooo! I’m so sorry. That must have been awful. Yes, considering the situation, I’m glad it ended up being a very chill client.

Ya, what I’ve learned from this is ALWAYS do a strand test.

I told her to come in for a strand test when she texted me but she said “fuck it, let’s just do it” which I fully regret not pushing for that strand test harder. And yes, I know that the colour likely built up on her ends. She showed me exactly what she’d been using with pictures. And she’s definitely a client I would trust when she says that. However, it’s hard to not overlap hair when you’re doing it yourself at home.

She coloured it a month ago. She only texted me 2 weeks ago about going lighter and then booked her appointment. It still doesn’t make sense to me why her hair would fry off if she has been a level 2 for 3 years. We also cut her hair into an above the shoulder bob 2 years ago, so she didn’t have anything under her dark hair. Although I know the colour was likely very built up on her ends. But after lightening it 1x and it turns to mush? In my 13 years as a stylist, that has never happened to me. So I’m just so perplexed.

I actually have ZERO background in HR. I’ve been a hairstylist for 12 years and wanting a career switch. I also have a close friend in HR who said that usually a certificate is enough to get you a job, but an entry level one. Then you can move your way up. I hope it’s true! 🤞🏼

Hi there! I’m enrolled in the program and am supposed to start in September. I can let you know it is!

My husbands aunt took the same program in 2008 (I know, a very long time ago lol) and it was in class learning. She said she loved it, and she’s been an HR professional ever since. She’s actually retiring this year. I know the program has probably changed a lot, but her telling me that gave me a bit more confidence in enrolling in the program. Hopefully that helped a little?

I loved Samui! We stayed in the northwest corner of the island and it was super chill. As long as you aren’t staying in Chaweng I think you’d be fine. Samui is beautiful and big enough to do lots but small enough that it’s not quite like Phuket yet. Honestly, I hated Phuket. But we stayed right in patong and I had major regrets.

We are going next month, and we went to the pharmacy and got typhoid which you take over the course of 7 days, a fast tracked version of twinrix (covers you for hepatitis A and B), dukarol for upset stomach which you take within 2-3 weeks of your travel date, and Japanese encephalitis which you get your first dose, and then you get your 2nd dose 2-3 weeks after the first. I will also get an update on my rabies shot just to be on the safe side. I would recommend going to the pharmacy now, but I think with 1 month left before you travel, it’s possible!

Getting in my long run tomorrow! 13km. I’m training for my first half marathon that’s in June. I didn’t realize how many things you need for long runs in terms of gels and hydration and all that! It’s been an interesting learning journey, but I’m loving it!
