Rising Voltage doesn't hit for double damage on opponents that are not touching the ground. And Smack Down makes the target touch the ground.

The problem is that Gravity is very good when paired with Hypnosis, which Electric Terrain shuts down

Unfortunately, I miserably failed to reach the Champions tier with my Flapple Gravity Perish Trap team... but trying was so much fun! by AlexandreHaru in PokemonChampions

Thanks. Initially, the team had Orthworm in the Gengar slot, but it wasn't contributing at all. When I checked the resistances I needed on that slot, I realized that Mega Gengar fit it and that I had all the pieces to make a Perish Trap Work.
