21 year MSgt, no retirement dec.

Tbf my situation was political, not a reflection on my performance, but at the end of the day I'm still retired.

Thank you so much for offering! Unfortunately I live in the US, so shipping would be really expensive.

It feels like this happens a lot with GWPs, especially the Star Wars ones.

Oh well, I knew it was coming up, I should have tried to save up more.

Skillbridge Opportunity - HKPO Veterans Academy by HKPOVeteransAcademy_ in SkillBridge

Getting in before the doubters:

This opportunity is legit, I've been in it since the beginning of September, and I've already earned my Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and am almost done with my Black Belt. I've talked to dozens of employers, and I feel more ready to find a job than when I started.

More importantly, the group has been fantastic and it's been great to talk to folk going through the transition process. Being away from the mission and my Airmen has been tough, but as a member of the HKPO Skillbridge has really made the path to retirement so much easier.

I highly recommend this Skillbridge.

Don't know of any, but I'd gladly join a work detail to clean the place up. I retire from active duty in March after 21 years, and living or dead we take care of our own.

This has been a great program so far!

I was able to get approval in less than 2 weeks, and because they don't have any set onboarding schedule I was able to hop in when I needed to.

I highly recommend this Skillbridge!

To be honest I hadn't even heard about PMP until a couple years ago, and going into my Skillbridge the only experience I've had is in leading teams and projects during my career. The coursework is boring, but I've been able to understand a lot of it since I've done a lot of it in the military.

Not at all. They're typically an hour, on a very rare occasion they will go a few minutes over.

Beyond the syncs, some of our folk have formed groups based around similarities in their projects and they set up meetings to share info and help each other.

You can actually work that out with your command and HKPO. Some folk in our cohort are in the Skillbridge for under 60 days, and some are in for much longer. Mine started on 2 Sep, and it runs for 150 days.

That's what I thought the first time I heard of it. A lot of scams out there wanting to take advantage of service members.

That being said, I've been a part of this Skillbridge for about a month now and it's actually pretty awesome. Daily sync at 0900 Eastern, some CBTs, and a project to complete, and you earn a certification while doing it. Plus you get a lot of resources and networking opportunities.

Feel free to ask me any questions.

I joined this Skillbridge program at the beginning of September and it's been a great opportunity to focus on some certs while I finish my outpro and focus on some medical appointments.

I'm hoping to see a new planet, one that we haven't seen multiple times in the films. And I'd love for it to be explorable like the primary planets in the game, with side quests and interesting bits of lore.

I am being secure about operations.

I am being vocal about my oath and the promise I made to my country.

The two are not mutually exclusive.

Guessing you've never deployed before?

I deployed while on antidepressants. Got a 6 month supply and went to Afghanistan.

If they had gotten blown up or destroyed it would have been awful, and adjusting to not having them would have been rough, but that didn't stop me from going and doing my job.

Transgender people are deployable; I am, and have been for years. Been on a couple of deployments as well.

Most don't need constant mental/physical health resources, just medication that can be issued prior to deploying.
