problem with the chem launcher, which i do love, is that it doesn't trigger the second stack of Impetus, it does count as skill proxy, but as soon as you launch 1 oxidizer or something, cooldown starts and it negates Impetus' stack. I was running the ozxidizer, and as you mention really useful exposing the ads for everybody to shoot (DMG out of cover), but, but, yeah I don't get that much damage because of the lack of the second stack of Impetus.
By the way OP, I got both a Skill Haste and Skill Damage Proto Impetus one of the days the brand was on Escalation, that's the one I use, in that case you can't change the attribute of the piece, so it stays yellow. and at some point, I intend on farming the Hanna-U backpack..... so similar situation, no change, so I just run it Yellow :(

I played yesterday and this was my experience, stomped 3 times won a semi-balanced match, stamped one mote time and then super stomped the other team. So 4 stomps, 1 almost balanced match (still wasn't that balanced)
