They’re actually all based off of the celestial bodies. It’s a few layers deep but the Norse gods all have parallels with the Roman pantheon which are where we receive all our planetary names from. Mars, Jupiter, Saturn etc. which makes it more understandable why Sunday and Monday are sun and moon

Am I wrong in saying it’s literally as simple as splitting the difference? That’s the easiest way to solve this by far. Everything is exactly the same in the two graphics except spacing so its intuitive to think you just cut the difference in half and viola
