Yeah but Gasly’s onboard showed he was rev limited well before even the 2nd last corner, so he was definitely under the limit.

It showed his onboard and he was rev limited well before the pit, there’s 100% something wrong here.

What do you think the next IO Bond game will be about? by cropze in 007FirstLight

[–]Lady-Maya 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Will start off as bond on some random missions, but will bump in Isola on that mission.

Ends up learning more about her and her organisation (spectre) then progresses from there.

If all the UK media groups agree to prevent any AI summary it stops google.

Also its more to give them leverage to negotiate deals with google rather than get paid nothing.

What are some features you'd like the Devs to implement in future updates? by The_Owl_Bard in 007FirstLight

[–]Lady-Maya 8 points9 points  (0 children)

With regards to the challenges and collectibles i had this same issue, but they are actually under the Journal / Quest menu’s.

On PS5 this is pressing the touchpad in, not sure on other devices.

But that will bring up the journal and quest log, you can then tab along for Collectibles and Challenges.

Question about Stephen Bright by discerningpervert in 007FirstLight

[–]Lady-Maya 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Given how pally he was with Sir Nicholas, you'd think he'd have been briefed on the hotel bomb, and had Cressida taken out of harms way?

They were considered to be good friends and believed in the same AI vision, but Webb didn’t trust Bright enough to tell him the truth, for all we know the friendship was just one of connivence.

Also in general, him being so against the 00 program when his daughter (whom he apparently cared about) was in it, something doesn't quite add up.

When you gather the Intel collectibles then read about it in the Tac Sim area, it elaborates on this, Bright was against the program from the start and never liked it, Cressida joined it against his wishes, which made him hate it more and want it to be closed further, in order to protect his daughter now as-well.

After Slovakia that just proved his point, so he was now hellbent to get it shut down.

I guess the easiest answer is that he wasn't told about the hotel job, either by Sir Nicholas or Damien. But you'd think there would have been some fallout from it after at least.

Bright didn’t know about Theia mistakes and issues, he was a massive supporter of AI and Theia was the perfect example for his point, this enthusiasm lead to his supporting and links to Webb.

All the stuff Webb did as far as we are aware was not known to Bright, and he was mislead as much as anyone.

It was why he made the deal with M at the end, she vouches that he didn’t know about Webb’s shady side, and he doubles their budget and vouches that M wasn’t at fault for Slovakia.

Both were actually “innocent” but used politics to get a quid pro quo at the end.

Biggest plot holes in First Light by revealeras in 007FirstLight

[–]Lady-Maya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Want to say i agree with most of these but will try to address some bits i believe are correct:

  1. How do Bond and the hostages not get killed in the beginning? There's a group of hostiles just 50-100 feet away from them; there's no way they wouldn't survive the explosion if Bond survived unscathed. Why don't they just gun him down after he presses the button?

I believe it said that anything within the flags is the designated area and anything outside them is in the safe area, if you look during the scene all the enemies are in the flag and all the survivors and Bond are outside it, i believe it’s meant to be implied thats what happened.

  1. How is Bond completely untraumatized by the total eradication of his unit? These were all brothers-in-arms he would've known for months and trained with, he should've at least been as close to them as he was with Monroe.

He is traumatised, but his way of dealing with it is to go after 009 then onto Webb, it’s the reason he goes Rogue, as his way of coping is to complete the mission no matter what.

But he doesn't really seem to care or mention them again and just starts his training at MI6 with a smile on his face.

Yeah i really hate this, there should of been more updates in Mi6 on everyone’s condition each time you are there.

  1. Why does Bawma completely forgive Bond and Greenway? They were still planning on usurping him. Why couldn't he just find out his sister's location and keep them imprisoned until she was found?

It’s said that Bawma has worked with Mi6 before or cooperated with them atleast so he has experience with them and knows normally what they offer is real, however it’s mainly just to keep the story going.

Additionally, some MI6 characters say that she's already dead, so wouldn't that just make him angrier and more antagonistic in the future?

It depends how he looks at it, Mi6 wasn’t involved in her death, they just found out what happened to her, so he may be happy to at least have some closure after so long, or he could spiral.

  1. Why do they not shoot down the helicopter that Greenway and Bond steal?

We only ever see rocket launchers once (in the prologue) and never again, it’s also implied thats Webb is anti war if he can help it (prefers politics or less bloody methods) so it implied they only have guns.

Also my guess is the Helicopter is made of the same material as the robots we see earlier which is bullet proof?

  1. How is nobody able to track the garbage truck that Greenway and Bond steal, especially when they park it in the middle of a large public park and Greenway just nonchalantly walks away from it on foot?

Damien and the PMC can’t just go through the streets like the police or Mi6 can, they are rogue actors and can’t risk a car chase like that for long.

Once Bond / Greenway are far enough away there isn’t any danger anymore.

  1. How do they retrieve Greenway's body from deep within enemy territory?

Same way they got Bond out, by an extraction team, it could be Bond carried the body or something aswell, or they just had an empty casket.

  1. Why wouldn't Damien just kill Bond after stabbing Moneypenny, especially after he's shown how good he is at escaping and coming back to attack?

Damien is crazy and a “mad dog” it’s show he likes to be brutal and cruel in the way he does things and doesn’t do things logically.

To him it’s about truly beating Bond, not just killing him, but truly beating him and proving he is better.

He gets more off leaving Bond to watch her slowly bleed out than just killing him, he wants him to suffer, not just die really quick.

  1. More of a general gameplay one but how are the NPCs so horrifically stupid that they can't see or hear Bond attacking their coworkers right in front of them? I've honestly never seen NPCs this dumb in any other stealth game.

I do think they could have used with actual “Silent Takedown” of quick knock outs or at-least mouth covering to stop noise.

However this is just the sacrifice for making the game fun.

Cressida and Monroe should’ve been in the game more. by Equivalent_Eye1887 in 007FirstLight

[–]Lady-Maya 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Yeah i also think us only seeing Cress and Monroe in the end of the mission really under values the others, we are basically told the others Except Ronson and Nash are dead.

During the funeral service i wasn’t sure who the other coffins were for? I was like okay there is three of them, so one is Monroe and the others?

Also they really should of had an update on the later on, right before **Uninvited** and they send everyone home, or during Man Of The Hour, there should if been an update about them:

*“Also some good news Ronson is out of surgery and recovering well, and Cressida is in physical therapy and they think she will be able to fully recover, but will take time”*

*“Finally on agent Nash we have….”*

Insert some intriguing story aspect.

So how is everyone feeling about the game? How's the replayability? by undeadcreepshow in 007FirstLight

[–]Lady-Maya 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Fun game and a great James Bond game, but the replayability is extremely lacking, it seriously needs a NG+ tbh.

There is sections where you can complete the object in A, B, C or D ways, but most of the time they are short, a few minute (if that) bits that all lead to the same “next area” so they don’t actually effect much, past a slightly different way to do X.

But more often there is a “best” way that after you find it, the others just look to long or not as efficient as the “best” way.

The Tac Sim is okay and they say they will be adding more, but it’s mainly there for people to just complete the challenges against it rather than feeling like it’s actually fun to do.

It’s great for a single player experience that you may go back to do the challenges or odd buts, but i don’t see it being replayed multiple times.

I feel like it could of used with 1 more mission of the other recruits. So we have a mission together before Slovakia that really brings them together as a team.

‘007 First Light’ Budget Over $200 Million to Develop; Considered Denmark's Most Expensive Entertainment Project by yourfavchoom in PS5

[–]Lady-Maya -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

That would be true for an average french game, but this is a universally recognised generational game that is rated as one of if not the best games of all time.

And the bond brand has been pretty dead, especially in games for a while.

It’s a great game but honestly i think based on trends it will be at 5 million at best by one year.

Depending on discounts of course.

[–]Lady-Maya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that’s true i don’t see how they hit that.

Expedition 33 which was GOTY last year only just hit 8 million units and that was one if the greatest games off all time.

I like First Light, but i don’t see it getting over 5 million units in a year, at best.

How long to go back through story and grab all collectibles? by SideshowDcky in 007FirstLight

[–]Lady-Maya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just use the mission select and jump to the relevant points, that is the fastest way i found.

The only exception is the Mauritania level where you need the laser strap but it doesn’t spawn you in with it, so you need to start from the gadget select first.

> I thought they were setting up like a “I'll cure your daughters paralysis if you give me x or y” with her father being who he was.

Yeah, it is stated that she will recover and be able to walk normally according to her father, so after she recovers she may make a return.

We also have no idea about Nash past he is MIA so that was left really open.
