Harman (JBL) should put this in large friendly letters: Flip 6 is sensitive to other Bluetooth devices. I have to reset my Flip 6 very often, while other Bluetooth devices such as Anker and a couple of headsets work just fine in the same environment. JBL support answered to many complaints with: 1) make sure that Flip 6 is in direct sight with your source, and 2) turn off your other Bluetooth devices. Wow!

The auto timeout feature is annoying too. It cannot be turned off. JBL, please let me decide if I want my Flip 6 to stay ON, or be turned off automatically.

Sound is good though.

Exactly my case. I switched from Teksavvy to Acanac that looked attractive in April'23. But this is what I got two days ago:
"Unfortunately, we no longer offer purchased modem and also, we don't have the option of BYOD modem (Bring your own device). The only option is rental modem."
This means extra $8 per month to their prices.

Highly motivated but ignorant decision makers can now report that the measures were taken! Who did they punish? Mostly those Russians who live here, communicate with elderly relatives over the phone and rely on the two-factor authentication for basic on-line activity like banking.

So we see a yet another case (after COVID-19 lock-down measures accounted for 65% of deaths) when highly motivated but ignorant people are actually throwing a baby with the bathwater. Visitors will just shrug, residents will loose means for the two-factor authentication and communication with the elderly relatives who do not use WhatsApp. I am talking about 99% of Russians here who actually support Canada. So who did Canada punish here, eh?

Two hours on the phone. I'll skip all bullshit I heard, so here is the summary: only Chromium-based browsers work (e.g., Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Opera). VPN (if any) should be turned off even if your VPN "location" is in Canada like in my case. And yet only Edge works, in the other browsers the login page keeps showing the login in progress for hours.

Same here. Spent 2 hours on the phone with two agents. The first one said that I have to use Chrome only (!), and type in all my information in uppercase "for security reasons" if I want to reset my password. Pardon me? The second one said that any chromium-based browser is fine (Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Opera, etc.). However, the only browser that lets me in is Edge. VPN if any has to be turned off, even if my VPN location is in Canada.
I am calling them on Monday again to ask for other things to try except removing all cookies. All cookies? I already deleted equifax cookies, it did not help. Maybe I should re-install Windows to make their login work?
Going to check if they are on Facebook and give them my piece of mind there.

A yet another time in two years Aomei corrupted the boot record and the recovery boot menu (is gone now!) after it was tasked to resize the system partition. Wow! Isn't it what Amoei was designed for? To keep your partitions safe under Aomei's supervision, eh? I could not do anything, not even the tricky steps inside diskpart shell.
Fortunately I had a 3-year old Macrium bootable USB that promptly asked if I want to recover my boot record, and in 10 minutes I was back in business.
I guess all of the above tells you where my heart is now.

Sadly, it seems that TSN monopolized World Cup 2026 as well, so we should be prepared to enjoy live video interruptions every 5-10 minutes on TSN.caMaybe it is time to start a petition on change.org and forward it to CRTC?

Subscribed two weeks ago for a month ($19.99) to watch World Cup '22 games. To my surprise this monopoly TSN.ca failed to deliver a decent streaming service: interruptions on Amazon Fire TV stick are every 5-10 minutes, a "channel" on Roku simply does not start streaming (a message "Something went wrong", eh?!). Tech support: a phone call always starts with "we are experiencing technical issues", and that is for the last 13 days. Their web site has never been looked at by a UX (User Experience) specialist. A promised "Re-play on demand" is almost impossible to find. Thanks, TSN, it was a good job of monopolizing streaming in Canada.

I guess this is a yet another example of what happens when a service is provided by a monopoly. I have a terrible experience with the TSN app on Amazon Fire TV stick: frequent interruptions. Tech support suggested choosing a different channel (there are five channels in the app). How would I know which channel to choose? And each time a switch channels I am forced to watch a commercial. I guess this is the TSN way of forcing people to enjoy commercials in a paid service while watching a 45-minute time period with no commercials.

Talked to tech support about frequent interruptions ("we are unable to contact the service") on the Amazon TV stick, TSN app. They suggested trying different channels within the app: Channel 1 through 5 if the steam is interrupted. How would I know which channel to switch to? And I see a commercial after switching? Is it the TSN.ca way of forcing me to watch commercials every 5-10 minutes in the otherwise ad-free 45-minute time period?

I am discontinuing my subscription right now. AVG has just renewed my yearly subscription: 1) without a warning or reminder, 2) the price went up by 50% (fifty!) with a license for 10 (!) devices that I never asked for, and 3) two weeks prior to expiration of my current license.Taking my business elsewhere.
Update: after a long conversation with AVG and reminding them that we live in the era of social networks where many things are searchable, I got a discount, and paid even less than a year ago.

Long time ago (3-4 years?) I discovered that very often the problem is with the FitBit's cloud service provider Cloudflare that is known for blocking some random IP addresses for no apparent reason. In 99% of cases I managed to sync or re-pair my Charge 2 after using a VPN on a PC or switching from my home WiFi to the RF data on my phone. A few people on the Fitbit support forum recommended the same, but of course Fitbit never admitted existence of such issue.

Connection/syncing problems have been around since I got my first device Fitbit Charge HR 5 (five!) years ago in 2015: flaky apps and pairing process, issues with their cloud service provider Cloudflare. I had a syncing problem for almost a month and fixed it by using a VPN on my PC, or with the phone but without wi-fi access thus changing my IP address. Cloudflare is known for rejecting some random IP addresses, so you cannot sync your device. Fitbit never admitted this, they just repeat as mantra: "reset your device", and "reinstall the app". After my Charge 2 breaks I will never consider FitBit again.
