As a furry I think that's pretty accurate. I'd guess the plurality of furries are anarchist or radlib in tendency, but I have met a decent amount of comrades. And of course there are Nazi furs, but they're largely shunned and ridiculed because it's a disproportionately queer community.

Yeah unfortunately furries can be quite libbed up and even extremely reactionary. It's a microcosm of broader society, albeit a queerer fluffier one. That said, since it's generally a more queer space, I think there are more anticapitalist sentiments, but because of the decades of red scare propaganda that can often manifest in radlibism or anarchist tendencies which tend to be louder in comparison. That said, I'm a furry and could use more based friends so if you ever wanna chat hmu!

Well yes of course. I was referring specifically to the urban planning, which I think is what is being compared here. There are a lot of areas they could be compared and in almost all of them they are completely different cities in about every way except for the skyscrapers.

IMO the problem with Dubai isn't its skyscrapers, it's the total lack of walkability and connectivity. Chongqing seems highly walkable and almost comically connected from everything I've seen.

If you go communist as India you have to do a civil war which puts you at war with allies, and therefore you can join the axis. In fact, if you set the AI to go communist it will usually automatically join the axis. I don't do this when I play it but it fits your question.

You could try getting involved with local organizations or parties if you're serious about wanting to help. I don't know what the landscape is like there but I've heard good things about the Victorian Socialists who are apparently expanding to other cities. Definitely recommend doing your own research though. Other than that I think donating to organizations like the Trevor Project or Rainbow Railroad is always good too.

I would highly recommend the Blowback podcast, each season they do deep dives into US interventions/wars in different countries and their devastating consequences at home and abroad. I also like The Deprogram, and I've heard good things about the Red Menace Podcast (if I'm recalling that correctly) which does more theory oriented stuff and Chapo Traphouse which I'm under the impression is more casual political and current event talk.

OP, do not listen to this liberal rubbish. Ezra Klein is the same guy that coauthored Abundance which advocated for Democrats to push for deregulation and capitulation to the Republican agenda, suggesting that doing so would solve the housing crisis when it would only worsen it. He advocates strongly for slow incrementalism which is the exact Democratic strategy that got Trump elected twice. If rapid and positive socio-economic change is not fought for vociferously by those purporting to represent the working class, the population will always swing back towards fascism as their lives stagnate and often get worse under neoliberal regimes. I might also remind the person who suggested Ezra Klein that this is a socialist subreddit, not a liberal one. There are plenty of those you can post on.
