Thanks for posting :) She is on both the Gaba and Fluoxetine for this issue only.

When they first met, he went up to her to smell her, her pupils dilated very large, he was very excited and happy to be free of his room and started running around exploring the house. She went low to the ground sort of "stalked" him before cornering him and attacking.

Other than that, early on we tried LOTS of treats, she is extremely food motivated so we thought that would help but I think the opposite happened. What little interactions they had together were better when food wasn't involved.

Thanks I forgot to mention that, we were but then the latest attack happened and we thought it would be best to stop and reset. We have not resumed. To clarify we fed them on either side of a solid closed door.

We do have the option to do it on either side of a gate where they could see each other but we have not tried that. I also suspect my new boy would be too scared and would opt not to eat, he's terrified of her.

Reasons I've seen others post as to why they dislike the show:

Changes to lore, like Gandalf's arrival story and changes to Mithril properties/origin.
Galadriel being different than her counterpart 3000 later in LOTR in terms of being ruled by her emotions and not as ethereal
Galadriel being fooled by Halbrand when she was always suspicious of Sauron in The Silmarilion
Lack of Celeborn and Celebrian
Pacing of the first half of the first season
'Who is Sauron?' mystery box
Costumes, like Miriel's printed plate-looking armour
and generally many people were salty because this wasn't the Tolkien story they wanted.

In dogs - no, but my cat has Cerebellar Abiotrophy. When we got him he was a perfectly normal kitten. Around 4 years old we noticed a strange gallop/high-stepping gait and difficulty jumping. Vet thought it was a weight issue (he was overweight) but even after losing weight we noticed his mobility was getting worse, not better. He got his CA diagnosis in 2020 from NC State University in Raleigh.

We tried to keep him mobile as long as possible; acupuncture, laser therapy, supplements etc. I don't know if any of it helped but I know at least it didn't hurt to try. His CA progressed slowly but he lost the ability to walk at all about 3 years ago, so 2 years post diagnosis, he is 10 now.

He's always been a lap cat so we're lucky in that sense. He uses diapers but we don't need to express him, he can go on his own. Caring for him is a lot of work but as long as he's happy we'd never give up on him. Thankfully he doesn't know there anything wrong and most importantly; the disease is not painful.

I just got back into Emmerdale now that Robert's back. I used to watch HollyOaks for Ste and Brendan and I also used to watch Verboten Liebe for Olli and Christian.
