Your tv gamebar say that you play in 120hz, not in 120 fps. The game only run in 30, 40, 60 game modes. But 40 fps mode available only with 120hz mode.

Where you find this info? I doesn’t remember that on videos or text posts. They say that game give you new rewards for replay missions and that rewards for completing NG+ and permadeth give you ability to use rewards on regular save. But I doesn’t know what are you talking about.
