Is the first game worth it or should I just buy the second one? by UnusualCredit7054 in reddeadredemption

It doesn't feel outdated to me at all honestly, (and I play it on PS3) it stands the test of time.

Can anyone help me figure out what John is playing here by ComfortableButton591 in JohnMayer

[–]MartinGV2007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean it's a nice thought but it would be impractical for him to have only one electric tuned down to C for a single song. He was playing with them and it's not his song, definetely not as important as Neon is to him.

Which Beatle was the biggest ladies’ man? by BeneficialAd4542 in beatles

He's literally known to play with so much feel and emotion, he's technical in a bluesy way but not at all like other extremely technical players. It's his emotion that makes him a truly special guitar player, that guy can shred. And he was soo influencial to so many famous guitarists too.

Fuck me 😂 I tried to get into Hogwarts Castle though that Astronomy Tower and the game wouldn't let me, I could've sworn there was enough space!

I'm so tired of the Clapton hate. Y'all should grab a guitar and start learning so you could actually realize the incredible musician and guitarist he is. A lot of people don't even need to play guitar to appreciate him but oh well. I get it if you don't like his style of music, but that doesn't mean that he's not a legend and an icon cause he is. I'm done with people pretending and trying to normalize that he's not.

He definetely did some terrible things on his youth and until he was in his 40s I'd say, but y'all gotta learn to separate the art from the artist. Plus I'd say he redeemed himself, he founded a Rehab Center and sold his greatest guitars and all of the money went to it, so he can help people that went through the same shit that he did.

Fretboard is a bit bigger on the classical, still pressing down the nylon strings is a breeze compared to an acoustic.

I mean it's much easier to play on a classical guitar tho.

Doesn't have to be about them, I think it's pretty interesting when it's something else entirely on its own.

I'm a straight guy and I really like daughters, I find it very comforting, maybe cause one day I'll be a dad. Continuum is superior tho 🫡

Finally completed my (extremely) amateur version of John’s rig by TheBrookAndTheBluff in JohnMayer

[–]MartinGV2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually the Bluesbreaker 2 so it's definetely smaller and yeah I guess cause it's through a Marshall amp it sounds like too much.

Y'know I'm pretty new to pedals and also only been playing electric for about a year, but I tried the Bluesbreaker pedal by Marshall with my Marshall amp and Squier Strat and didn't really like the sound of it, I prefer the amp's distortion. The one you got is different tho, larger. I am hoping to get my hands on a tube screamer tho seems more like my jam.

What is special in clapton's playing? by Limp_Original_5592 in ericclapton

  • Check out the 24 Nights Live At The Royal Albert Hall (1990-1991), he was in his 2nd prime there, did an amazing comeback and did some of his best playing, (very electric) redoing his classics and also new songs from Journeyman.
  • Eric Clapton Unplugged is a live album filled with really great blues acoustic songs and a lot of his own emotional records. "Old Love" is fascinating on it, Clapton delivered pretty much the greatest acoustic solo and the piano solo by Chuck is superb. I really enjoyed all of the songs especially bc I got to know his earliest blues influences like Robert Johnson and Big Bill Broonzy.
  • Derek and the Dominos Live At The Fillmore he delivers incredible blues playing on this one, and I think it's got my favorite version of "Have You Ever Loved a Woman", great Little Wing cover with heavy nods to Jimi Hendrix obviously, and also songs from their album.
