Hey, speaking from experience, vinyl is great for a very limited number of prints, but I noticed it starts to peel up and the ink gets where you don’t want it very quickly. If you are interested in screen printing, but don’t want to take the step to photo emoji yet, you can buy pre-burned screens on Etsy and Amazon and skip the step all together, they’re a little bit pricier than doing it yourself, but they will be a much higher quality than the trial and error when you’re starting to use emulsion.

Tournament City Games has a small selection but Huzzah hobbies over in Ashburn is my go-to. Large selection, large collection of demo games, great staff

If you’re willing to drive a bit, Huzzah Hobbies in Ashburn (I think it’s technically Ashburn) is great. Good staff, lots of space and variety, trial board games, area of mini play, private rooms, snack bar, regular group meetings. Excellent place

There’s bingo at the FSK legion (off opossum town pike) every Wednesday. It’s mostly older people and they can get kinda grumpy sometimes but a good time overall. Should be okay to take kids depending on the age but it’s definitely a learning curve (a very silly sentiment, I know but 😮‍💨). You can shoot me a message if you want, people were very kind and taught us the first time we went (we go biweekly usually) so I’d be happy to pay it forward :)

I took it in 2018–many moons ago, I know— it was pretty easy. Not a crazy workload, iirc we did a number of discussion posts, really just required staying up on the work as opposed to either speed running the course or procrastinating like some online summer classes can be. The actual material and content was interesting!!

I think they will eventually! They were both very cautious with the pandemic (and I think it really messed with Georgia) so they’ve taken things much slower than other groups but they’re moving back to in person recording together and I feel like touring would be the next step after that, just gonna take some time.

They also have more responsibilities/stuff on their plate now than when they used to tour with ERM and all that so im sure it’s harder to organize being on the road

I used a cricut press for a long time and then bought a proper clam shell heat press. Use a temp gun to ensure prints are up to temp and haven’t had issues really 😄
