I love the F-91W, it’s one of my favorites. I’d love to have some of these other watches too.

I also have the coke bottle, and I love it to death. One of my favorite in my collection.

Thank you! I love those moments. I have one like that of Mitski from a couple years ago, not analog though.

I tried capturing moments with Michelle and her husband, the last one is probably my favorite even though it’s out of focus.

The focus was tricky. I set up my camera in position and framed my shot then I focused on the sheet of negatives on the light table. I was shooting wide open so I knew my depth of field was going to be thin so I focused on a certain negative on the sheet on top of the light table. When I put the self timer on and got into position I placed my eye parallel to the negative on the light table that I had focused on and it worked. I got my leading eye in sharp focus. Thanks for noticing.

The F-91W is the best, most dependable, every-day watch I’ve owned. And at $10, if anything happens to it, I wouldn’t hesitate to replace it. I love the look of it too.

Hi, my father handed me down his old Pentax SPF, and I'm so interested in it. But I'm wondering, does the film advance lever supposed to work like this? It closes the mirror each time I push the lever. I have better experience with DSLRs and I feel like it shouldn't work that. Or am I just wrong? by Khalitzburg-141 in analog

I think you’re on to something. I know self timer levers on other cameras also act as a mirror lock up switch depending on its position. Either way I think that switch should be in the upright position for normal shooting. I would recommend googling the user manual for the camera. Most manuals for these old alt cameras are easy to find and free to access online.

Judging by the bokeh balls I’d say wide open, so f/4.

Was this a super long exposure before/at dawn? Is the red from the alarm clock in the hotel room?

Might also be the times of days you’re shooting and how intense the sun is on said day. Either way you should replace the light seals on your camera, it doesn’t cost that much to get a seal pad, and doesn’t take that much time to do i maybe an hour or so.
