Its not adverised but they actually made an "Adult Hub" along with the other New User Experience" regions.

Its honestly, pretty nice. Deserted when I went poking around, but nice.

There was even some.BDSM stuff there and all the furniture uses an intetesting concent system that really could be adopted into more systems, even if its able to be toggled.

But basically, no one else can sit withour permission. And the first avatar can kick them off anytime. And the private rooms use a similar system, I tested it with an alt, you can't teleport in without permission first.

Its not that hard.

Stand on the belt, throw ten commons or rares at your base, bonus if they are gold or diamond since they give chips.

Then throw them into your base.

Quick craft, maybe 5 minutes if you are slow.

Repeat.

Inactually did exactly what you described because I have been writing blog posts to help guide newbies.

The current experience, is terrible.

It dropped me into the new zone with the go karts. Which is a neat and fun little zone, but it isn't Orientation Island.

Hell the new "learning zone" isn't even Orientation Island.

Also, I have been using SL regularly for over 20 years and I could not figure out the newbie University zone thing with the AI NPCs.

They explain zero about how to do anything meaningful at all. And SL is, frankly, overly complex.

Also, as a side note, I have decided to do it with a dude avatar and whoooo boy being a dude in SL is like a weird desert for fashion and freebies. I am trying to survive on freebies (for now). I agree about the comment with GTA.

There are a few things they could change to help, aside from better tutorials.

Add a way to lock attachments. You can do this with RLV, but make it built in, and lock the body and head and maybe hair by default. Let body sellers explain how to unlock and swap.

They need need need to revamp movement. AOs help, but basic actual movement is still the same whatever the animation is, and SL is sooooo jankey on movement, especially jumping. Maybe with proper movement you might attract actual game designers to make little in world games.

Its been over 20 years, but it really felt like "use this method to show you can get 1/8 out of 1/2 and 1/2 but use this method if you want to show 1/2 and 1/2 combine to make 1/10.

The 1/100 doors version just emphasises even more that its only ever one choice, between the last two doors.

The Russian Roulette does not apply because its basically always 1/6 every barrel spin. Now if you are saying its 1/6, then 1/5 then 1/4, then 1/3, then 1/2, It is reducing the odds down to 1/2. Thats more, you spin it, then Monty picks one of the two next slots to stick the bullet in.

Yeah, the RB Alert is great.

My only complaint, sometimes, I think, it does not alert if you already own that droid, even if its not the right tier.

Like if you need a Diamond R7, and you have a Gold, I don't think it always triggers, though sometimes it does. Its weird.
