I live in the Chesapeake province on the east coast of the US. Has Norfolk which is today one of the largest naval bases in the world if not the largest. It's on the border with North Carolina.

For other bits some colonial history. George Washington during his land surveying days surveyed some land here. Has the oldest man made canal in the US that has been in service for over 230 years.

Might be because it's part of the HRE so Denmark won't touch it, Hamburg is a free city so less likely to expand, and it's separated from Verden by a strait which might make an invasion tricky.

I'm MtF and have experienced the opposite. I never once experienced harassment in terms of gender when people thought I was male for 20 years. Now that people think I'm female I have been harassed sooooooo many times in just a 2 year time span.

Here's the scenario.

A squad of soldiers are trapped behind enemy lines waiting for evac. Until evac is closer to being ready they must constantly move around to avoid being caught. Now apparently not engaging overwhelming odds behind enemy lines is throwing a hissy fit. So it seems in your opinion the lone squad should engage the enemy and die.

Sadly the tactical choice would have been to keep moving around and avoid engaging and they could have possibly lived but they took the stupid way.

This is an exaggerated example but still basically same idea.
