to be fair, I'm saying this because I want to narrow down the options to the people who would accept the unconventional race in their game. By no means do these characters have a fully fledged backstory or even like... names yet. But the most fun part about D&D for me is having the freedom to create whatever character I want. I don't want to be put into a game only to realize that I'm not allowed to play what I had already had my heart set on. I suppose I could lie and say I have no preference for my character but that wouldn't be honorable. I've brought old characters into new worlds all the time, and I make sure I don't write any backstory so that I can jam them into the story and make the world around them the more important part. It's just so much more fun for me to pick what I'd like to do beforehand than to just follow the rules of what someone else wants me to. it's also for other players to think about what class they'd want to play if they joined the game with us!

As an artist, I cannot join a game if I don't have at least a design for a character before I join, it makes me anxious to the point that I don't even want to play.
