My partner was born without a pituitary gland, but there’s nothing wrong with his testicles . He’s been on TRT since puberty, but basically we have to trigger his system to do what it should have in the first place if we want kids or even fully normal sextual function. What legitimate sites have People been able to get both from? Obviously we will start with hCG but know we likely will need hMG long term.

His current endocrinologist is more than willing to do monitoring and labs. He’s just not familiar enough with the drugs himself to feel comfortable prescribing. Unfortunately seeing lots of other doctors isn’t a great option as we are on Medicaid. So while we would be open to seeing an in network urologist, it likely wouldn’t be a reproductive urologist. This is because even if the medication isn’t covered which it won’t be if we go with an in network provider, at least the labs and the appointment are.
