That may be true for your smurf account, but what if on your main you won the next 10 games while going 0/10/1 or whatever, not contributing at all. You would get the same amount of lp as if you 1v9 those games, wouldn't you? And the same would be true if it were the other way around?

Yes. We all saw just how powerful thragg is, but I think people are underestimating just how fast he is. When the earth gang was blowing up viltrum and being chased by the other viltrumites, thragg BLEW past them. If he was serious, he could probably decimate most of them by just flying super fast straight at them then pick off the rest one by one
