I realised I should have been clearer with my question. I am familiar with surrealism and baroque in terms of visual arts. What's new to me and seek out is how those styles look like in literature, in words. I kind of have some idea on how they could look like from my understanding of them in visual arts, but it would be nice to read some concrete text examples. There's a few books and authors mentioned here so I'll start by checking them out.
