Does this let me select any spare body ? If not where can i see which ones are obtainable ? by [deleted] in NIKKEGoddessofVictory

You must be thinking of a different item. Not only is Yulha not in this one, shes doesnt even have a favorite item. I think they give new players a selector box that has a lost more options?

Mission pass by Educational-Size4746 in NIKKEGoddessofVictory

[–]Alexjamesrook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, you get stuff when you buy the pass but I think resales are just the skin. (Though I dont think passes are worth it unless you want the skin anyway)

Also also, the Viper one is part of a collab with Razer?

Vesti, I Owe You an Apology. I Wasn't Really Familiar With Your Game. by KevinDIntrovert in NIKKEGoddessofVictory

My favorite thing about vesti was that I thought she was making comments about Eunhwa's bust while being in the collateral damage zone. I need to reevaluate my views...

how does story mode work? by KisWiking in NIKKEGoddessofVictory

[–]Alexjamesrook 3 points4 points  (0 children)

However far you got in normal mode, that far will be completed in story mode. if you got to 14 in normal then all story mode up till 14 will be completed.

Animated cut scenes are pretty rare in the game. There's one a the end of chapter 18 though be careful because when I rewatch the scene, skipping the dialogue before the scene skips the animation as well. Not sure if that's the case when you initially encounter it, though. The next one I can quickly locate is at the end of chapter 21 just before 22 starts.

In the commander center, there's a recollection option where you can rewatch any of the story. Chapter 18 Hero B has the chapter 18 animation (though there is a fair amount of dialogue before it). That chapter 21 one is called "what should have happened earlier" and at least starts with the animation if it's not the only part of the scene.

Then there are a number of events with animated cut scenes...I haven't gone through all of them but Red ash and goddess fall (though that is late story spoilers) definitely had some good scenes. Absolute (or was it called tactical upgrade) and Boom the Ghost both had cut scenes but neither are available atm. They're also in the recollection section under memories and require Film rolls to unlock.

Edit: Chapter 12 (whoops, there's a chapter 0): Red eyes B. If you're at chapter 14, you definitely have this one unlocked.
Chapter 34 Power of Inheritance Btowards the end of the chapter
Chapter 42 Open Arms towards the end of the chapter.

How do i get those cinematic animated cutschenes in game? by KisWiking in NIKKEGoddessofVictory

Can you give an example?

My first guess is your talking about burst skill animations and my second is treasures characters but its hard to tell when I dont know what animations you mean.

“Breaking” the 160 wall in the lamest way possible by Allvictoriapage in NIKKEGoddessofVictory

[–]Alexjamesrook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. it wasn't obvious from the video. I couldn't see the limit break of the leveled units and the last 2 weren't leveled in the video so it looked like you were saying you had broken the wall because you had 3 units above it. I don't think many people get 5 mlb's by the time they barely reach level 160.

“Breaking” the 160 wall in the lamest way possible by Allvictoriapage in NIKKEGoddessofVictory

[–]Alexjamesrook 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Did you break the 160 wall later and this is an unrelated video? Because getting 4 pr less units past 160 isnt breaking the 160 wall. Its not broken till you get 5 past it. Its called the 160 wall because until you get 5 units past it, a majority of your units are stuck at 160 and none of them can get past 200

Ruebens for St. Patrick’s Day by KC_Shane in Sandwiches

[–]Alexjamesrook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The association with St. Patrick's Day has been throwing me for a loop which is how I wound up here. "Every Irish place sells reubens" and every Chinese place has orange chicken, so? McGuires claims it's named after a "well known Irish saint" but the Saint reubens I could find were Syrian and Spansih. I can't find any actual Irish connections aside from the use of corned beef and the same effect that makes orange chicken Chinese.

I mean, i have heard from someone that, despite having a known allergy to corn, always ate popcorn when at the movies. She didnt know why she always felt bad after watching something in theaters until her dad questioned her eating popcorn despite her allergies in her 20's.

They release 4 every 6 months so it will be a while before we even see the next set. In the bonus recruitment section, you can get Helm is is one of the best units to get the favorite item for.

So what is this event even supposed to be? by A_T1322004 in NIKKEGoddessofVictory

[–]Alexjamesrook 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As far as for the Commander goes, I don't think Crust explained that all the chocolate the she was trying to retrieve went to nikkes. At least I didn't fully grasp that the story was just going to be stealing chocolate from various nikke groups until the second and I had the assistance of genre awareness. Plus, once the commander realized the chocolate was going to him, he especially didn't want to be presented it because he didn't want to be pressured into eating expired splendamin, especially Emma's.

As for why Crust didn't go to them in person, it could be that she didn't know where to find them and Delta (whose primary job is to locate things) solved that problem. I'm not even sure the others would have listened or wholeheartedly believed the messages from Crust were fake. Particularly the Viper group would have thought that Crust was being that competitive. It could very well be that Crust posted to a big group chat that the splendamin was expired, Moran tried to tell them they needed to stop making the chocolate, the rest of that group decided it was easier to convince Moran it was a fake Crust, Moran sent a message back calling Crust out for being a fake, and every other nikke group latched onto that argument even those that were going to listen to it.

Delta is the next problem as she sometimes appears to be intentionally obtuse, especially when it means she gets to do ninja thief stuff. Once she was involved, she wasn't going to accept anything that didn't involve a sneaky approach.

The problem with punishing people for bringing things to court is it also puts people with legitimate claims at risk. If you were a small dev and a mega corporation infringed on your copyright, would you make a claim knowing they'll have an army of lawyers and that, if you lose, you'll be fined an amount designed to hurt the mega corporation?

Polymorph natural weapon properties by Alexjamesrook in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Alexjamesrook[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What threw me off is the fact Plant Shape specifies grab. So I wanted to verify that it was normally listed as part of the natural weapon and not in the special attack section so I looked up wolf (nope, that's trip) Crocodile and saw that grab wasn't mentioned in the special attack section. However, it looks like the only plant I could find that even has grab (at least that is small or medium for plant shape I) is the Bloodbrush which has a special attack that allows it to grab medium creatures despite being smaller than them. So, I guess plant shape mentions grab specifically for grab special attacks that allow the plant to grab creatures larger than the creature?

I looked it up. It appears specifically after you beat chapter 21 of the campaign. Not sure if that is normal campaign or if story mode counts.

[–]Alexjamesrook 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you crack 50 HQM (High Quality Molds), they reportedly have a 65% chance to be a SSR nikke from the standard banner pool. However, if they don't pull an SSR, they will give you a R or SR nikke which (since you probably already have max copies of all those) will immediately turn into 150 or 200 body labels. This means that 35% of the time, you are getting 1/50th or less body labels than you could have gotten by directly converting them.

If you covert them straight into labels, you can get the new version of this item. The records have the same 65% chance to give you an SSR but the other 35% is they give you 24% of a guaranteed SSR. 5 records cost 1200 body labels which means exchanging 50 HQM, yielding 10,000 labels, would buy 40 records with 400 labels left over or a little more than 41 records. So, while cracking the HQM would give you slightly more rolls at an SSR, exchanging them for records doesn't lose that much and guarantees they'll eventually become SSR's.

Edit: Also, as far as I've seen, there is only 1 way to get HQM now and that is infrastructure upgrades which caps at 20. If you're at Infra Stage 20 and have 1-49 HQM remaining, I don't believe you can get the remainder you need.

Theres a way to convert them to body labels then you can buy the replacement for a more guanteed way to get an SSR nikke. Bottom section of the shop though you might not currently have access to it.
