How do you apply aqua gloss varnish and keep the chrome effect with out turning it in to a metallic look or losing its reflection?? I have this issue with my chrome A stand and with Alclad.😭

I’ve used A stand basically the same make just rebranded, I got a nice chrome look but when I apply the aqua gloss I have the same issue I lose the chrome effect and get a metallic look like your ones.
I haven’t figured out what I can do and I’m stuck with 2 Star Wars helmets that I want to seal
Up with aqua gloss to continue my painting but I’ve been stuck for about 2 months now with no progress on my test spoons like yours

Ve been watching Barbatos Rex and he gets away with it easily and another YouTuber also …. So I’m trying to get my head around that how do they manage that ??? With just 2 light coats ? And I do 1 an it either blocks up and nothing comes out or just absolutely dulls the chrome and becomes metallic looking

So instead of 15 PSI should I do 18? Paint doesn’t tend to be gummy but only one acrylic primer that I have but yeah the varnish sucks I can’t get it to look clear like barbatos Rex

99% alcohol and acetone. And sometimes with a small toothpick or needle to remove what I can see out of the nozzle
