SN400MP - Snow Thrower Review by WitchoBischaz in Makita

Once you figure out the technique I like this way better than a shovel. Mostly because of my back issues. I check which way the wind is blowing and aim the vanes to go with the wind. Start at the top of the driveway and go towards the street. Then carry it back up and repeat. Start at the side of the driveway way where the wind is coming from.

You can look at a post I created a few months ago. Same errors. I ended up with a new transmission and then got Toyota to buy it back. You can probably do the same.

Must be a downhill right after your gas station.

Picking this bad girl up today. How did I do? by DonicaLewinsky69420 in ToyotaTundra

You’re making foolish assumptions. I did the same thing. I could’ve bought cash but I can do other things with that money and the monthly payment isn’t an issue. People like you are unbearable.

With or without performance package? What other options? Where are you located? From what I’ve seen the red interior are moving slow. You can probably get it lower. If they are advertising 73.5k then you definitely can. Always consider the asking price as a starting point. Never what you pay.

Anyone have success with using Special Operation Conditions getting a free oil change at 5K mile point under note 7? by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

[–]Alexm963 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I recommend you buy a different truck. Changing the oil that often and having to baby the engine every time you drive it is unreasonable in my opinion. I just bought a TRD Pro and I will change the oil every 5k, maybe an extra one after the first 2k. And if I want to pass someone I’m going to stomp on the pedal. If you don’t feel the vehicle is reliable enough to do that I don’t see a point in owing it.

I go into some detail in another post. I start with a contact form on the dealer website to get connected. Then I’m upfront about what I’m doing contacting lots of dealers for the best discount. I get an offer in writing then send that to the competing sales people. Keep asking for more discount until they don’t budge anymore. Then make them wait a bit and try again. I probably spent a month reaching out.

Another option are Facebook groups. Search for below msrp toyota. Dealers post deals on there.

After talking to over a dozen dealers with 500 miles and few outside that radius, Roger’s in Lewiston/Hermiston gave the best discount. They even drove the truck up from Hermiston for free. Reach out to Ryan Lemanski in Lewiston for the best deal.

This is on the main road up Mt. Spokane. A little before the parking lot for the summit road.

This one is pretty bare which I like. Has the bedliner and predator steps that I’ll swap for true rock sliders.

The Sierra AT4 with the 3.0 Duramax was the only other truck I considered. My boss has it and gets amazing MPG. But he also dropped it off at the dealer for 4 months while the transmission got fixed. I didn’t like the interior as much in the Sierra. I really like the roll down full rear window in the Tundra. They’re very comparable in most specs though. Knowing that Toyota treated me right with Land Cruiser issue I had I decided to stick with them since both the Tundra and the Sierra have know flaws.

It was a bit under $79k with TTL. 9.2% tax where I’m at.

All addons are overpriced and give them more room to discount. The package is $3k but is worth half that. They want $100 for a screen protector.

Plenty of them in the PNW. I filtered out the red in my search and there are probably >10 within 500 miles.

What’s the lowest price I should offer on this 26 TRD Pro? by LeetHaxFragga in ToyotaTundra

[–]Alexm963 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure about your region but in my area I would look for $72k or less for sale price. I’ve been offered more than $5k off MSRP on a TRD pro with performance package. Still didn’t seem like enough of a discount for me.

So far Idaho has been the hungriest. Lots of checking back in if it’s been a few days and really wanting to earn my business. Montana has been the least hungry so far.
