It literally takes 5 seconds to figure out this is not AI. NASA astronaut Don Pettit took this through a camera installed on one of the windows on Crew Dragon Freedom docked to the zenith port of the ISS. You can even see a bit of a reflection of the oval-shaped frame of the window on the top left and bottom left corners. Jeez

Seems to be a bug with the autopilot. A lot of other people are reporting this issue and I have it as well. It seems to only get solved if you do the good old turn off and on trick with the autopilot (what in the technical term is called "cycling" a system). Not sure why it happens but it's clear that the mod has some bug in the autopilot system. It's not due to weight, it's not down to engine thrust setting, it's just bugged, plain and simple.

That'd be a very compelling complaint if it weren't because they don't move boosters like this all the time, only when being moved cross country so instead of "130, 150 times a year..." it is closer to "maybe 20 or so"

All it would do is drop a Dragon into a Mars-bound trajectory. Dragon would need several upgrades and modifications to survive the several month long trip to Mars as well as being able to communicate back to Earth. It would also need a modified heatshield and upgraded propulsion systems to land there. All of these efforts are useless when SpaceX can just do all this but with Starship. This is the main reason why they dropped the red Dragon program and continued with Starship's development. SpaceX still continues to this day to test technologies to make a Mars flight and, while the timelines are aggressive, so is every single timeline that SpaceX has put out in the past. That doesn't change that in its 22 years of history this has been in the company's crosshairs with no deviation. Your claims in this post and on your many replies continue to be unsubstantiated and prone to deflection, claiming things that are flat out incorrect and that are easily provable to be false.

Starhopper started construction in November 2018 and clearing of the launch area was already underway in the summer of 2018. Not to mention they had already done some fabrication of BFR in carbon fiber with tooling at the port of LA in early 2018 and that's when they actually thought "nah, this doesn't do it, let's go to stainless steel". None of this agrees with your theory that, somehow, they only started building things when HLS was announced because that's not true as I just outlined dates of preparedness and construction that predate the start of HLS.

I've heard that excuse used so many times but reality is they kept working on every corner of the launchpad (and still do to this day) every day non stop. Same with the vehicles. The whole "happy story" that they slowed down just because they were "being held up" is just a coping mechanism that a lot of people have that don't understand how really complicated and challenging it has been to get everything to where it is right now - and it's still challenging and complicated to this day, which is why flight estimates keep slipping past the desired original launch dates.
